Looks great.
I used heat shrink on mine to insulate the unused post.

With so much work that I put into the suspension, I felt that the BFG TA radial 225/70R15 were taking away from the performance potential.

It looks better in person. A few 100 miles to break in the tires. A new alignment job, coming up next weekend.

New rubber: Michelin Pilot Sport 5. 255/45R18

Wow, 😮!
The new wheels and tires completely changed the look of the car.
I really like them.
I can only imagine how the ride and handling improved.

I hope your landlord gets that roof repaired soon.
There nothing worse!

It does look much better in person (sooo, if you’re ever coming by Belgium ).

I did it mostly for the performance. The tires need about 200 miles before they reach full potential. I may lower the car a bit… but not sure about that. I do think adding a rear sway bar and upsizing the front one might make sense.

The first few miles were indeed a bit . So, disappointing. But… it’s steadily improving. That said, acceleration grip in first gear is much improved. It used to be easy to break traction. Now the limit is traction seems much higher.

Ouch! Bummer about the water leak! But it looks like you got it sorted and got the car dry again. The Vette looks great with the new wheels — it looks much more restomod now. Hope we can meet at a car show somewhere this year so I can see your car in person.

The weather is improving, time to get out on the road again!
