Follow the directions. The resisters are not used. You have to drill new 1/4" holes for the volt meter.
I modded the ammeter tabs for the new connections.
I checked the power window plug while the drivers side was apart. The window switches are not the same. One is up, one is down while pushing froward. So, I checked the wiring to see if it was the wiring or the switches. Then, while doing the passenger side, I noticed I never removed the access panel on the drivers door. It isn't there.
An overnight soak in Purple power cleaned it right up.
A trip to Corvette Mikes got the lock pawl clip.

Had to pull the outside handle to install the new rod and pin.
Now to crawl into the door to finish.
Done. Twice. I had to replace the outside handle. It was worn just a tad too much to get enough throw.

Closing in on it.

Drives like it has 411 rear gears. Freeway its screaming.
Oil pressure is 35 lbs, 10 at idle hot.

On to the next car.
Nice job Bird. The voltmeter looks like it should have been there all along.
Well done! Thanks for sharing as I learned a great deal.
Any idea how many hours you put in and total cost of parts?
Looking forward to your next C3 project.
