You also should buy a 82 Corvette Shop manual. all parts are described in there and how to repair them including diagnosis

I ask someone who knows more than me, when I put the car back in the garage is it right or wrong to disconnect the battery to prevent it from discharging due to a long period of inactivity of the car? for example during the winter I do not use the car is it right to disconnect the battery as I have already started doing for three months?

go through these instructions step by step. So take out the ashtray, bridge pins A and B with a paper clip. Switch on ignition. cel watch. 3x code 12 should appear (i.e. 3x blink pause blink blink, then the error codes and finally code 12 again) the frozen codes are always two-digit, e.g. blink pause blink blink blink for 13 or blink blink pause blink for 21. ..

Looking at the pictures, it appears there have been numerous modifications to your engine.

Was the car running good when you got it?

The ONLY tool you need to pull the codes from the ECM (computer) is a paperclip and watch the CEL light as it flashes and write down the codes if any. Use the paperclip to short pins A/B together (which is under the ash tray) which will force the ECM to go into diagnostic mode and cause the CEL to flash. You REALLY NEED TO GET THE 82 GM SERVICE MANUAL... REALLY! Everything you need is in that manual to work on the car yourself.

good morning yes there have been changes the previous owner wanted to switch to carburetors because the car was not working well but after he thought about leaving the injection, I think this person took the car to a wrong mechanic, I bought this car at October 2019 but I immediately fell in love as soon as I saw it I was a bit reckless and hasty about the purchase. please write in clear and simple words for a good translation unfortunately i don't speak english and i have to do the translation be patient thanks
