It has turned out already! As posted around, here or there. icloud has stolen/lost most of my photo albums (long story). Pictures are few other than a thread or two on this site.

So it looks like from the picture that the flares weren’t quite wide enough, so you sliced them and tipped them out a little farther?
How hard was that to blend back into the quarter panel?

Josh at CIC makes every car a little different. Not too many cookie cutter repeats. We went through a host of pics looking for a desired outcome. The front of the flares, rear of the flares, and coverage are many times customized. Its the manner he came up with to give me the road racer wannabe I was looking for. As the '73 nose, '82 tail and hood make it different for my '77. My car was built based off a single picture.
Subtle and in your face.

These cars look great stock but flares just take the look up a notch, in my opinion! Body still in process.

Corvette Mods has a long history of not delivering what they promise, or not delivering any thing at all. Often they ship the wrong part, or a broken parts or it is not as advertised. They will not do a refund unless you complain enough and if they do finally agree, you have to pay shipping and a huge "restocking fee". (SEE EDIT)They had some fiberglass parts from Dynamic Corvettes on their website and I noticed the price was crazy low. I was talking to Melanie from Dynamic and asked if it was possible. She said that they don't sell to Corvette Mods, and if they did they would be losing money selling at that price. There is a facebook group where people share stories about being ripped off by them. My experience with them was when I saw their website selling LED's for stock gauges. I asked them if the photo was of they LEDs they sell and they said yes. I said BS, those are my aftermarket gauges and I did not buy the LED's from them and they just stole my photo off of the internet and were misleading customers. They banned me from commenting again and still have the photo up years later. You will notice I had a oil temp gauge where the clock was. I would not even order a keychain from them, much less something expensive and big.

EDIT. the fiberglass parts I was thinking of was from a different website and was not Corvette Mods. There are plenty of other reasons not to purchase from them, but I mis spoke on that one and am sorry.

Thanks brent319 for the heads up. It's sad some people out there are dishonest! I guess it is just the world we live in now. Sounds like you saved me a lot of grief and $.

I like the looks of the flares on this one. I also like the 15" wheels. Looks to be a 15x10 on all 4. That is what I'm thinking of doing on mine.
Ian240, Can you tell me the source of these flares?
Thanks!

My 1968 I drove in the 1990's. Basket case with a bent frame when I started.
