Yea,I cut my front springs to lower front,so,don’t see using a deep pan,but I think they make one in between deep and standard.
I cut my springs (3/4 coil) and lowered the rear, this is my ride height and i cant imagine using anything deeper than stock capacity, i sighted mine with the deep pan (3.5") and it hangs about 2.5" below the frame level and definitely lowest part of the entire underside, with the lowered suspension i might take some measurements first...
I bought this book 8 months ago, after I purchased my first 200r4 from a salvage yard,so I could be familiar with it. It has some good information along with a lot of pictures, and step by step. I actually just started reading it,but can tell it was worth buying it.so,if someone needs some information let me know.
Yea,I cut my fronts 3/4 also,so I don’t have a big gap,and also finally got those torque thrust wheels to fit, replacing the wheel bearings now on front and fit those wheels on and see how it sits.

thanks... that shot of pressures will help, hope to have it finished this weekend
It's installed, added a drain plug to the new trans pan, connected everything, I had to start it 6-7 times to get the fluid to pump through the system with 10 second starts, I only had two gallons and one quart of fluid so still need about 3 quarts to finish... all appears good and no leaks anywhere, I have a pressure gauge hooked up and idles at about 50 psi @1000 rpms in park... I know I'm looking for closer to 90psi, I'm assuming I can adjust that on the TV cable after I fill it to appropriate level?

Yes.
I recommend finish filling first, but then.....
Set your idle to 1000 rpm and tweak the TV cable so it reads 90 PSIG. Then Lower the idle back down.... tell us your pressure but it shouldn't matter much as long as it's not too low.
Hopefully you got to observe the TV Cable/Slug travel while you had the pan off to ensure it travels fully.

yep, I pushed up on the TV wire and looked like it pushed the slug all the way in, had my wife help me with the throttle while I was underneath and looked like it was functioning good. I set the TV cable pin travel as far forward as the throttle pin travel back (about 1.75") and made a mark on the side of the carb but I can see now the TV cable pin is a little short of that mark at full throttle so gonna shorten the cable a bit.
I won't be doing this till later in the week when back in town. Thanks carriljc
