HYDRATECH GROUP PURCHASE
1972 LT1 Corvette/factory power/level III, I also have steeroids so I think I need longer hoses correct?

apparently...these units are plumbed IN SERIES with the power steering units....regardless of type....
in other words..it does from pump to brakes, to pwr steering rack....then leave the return line from the rack to the reservoir.....
or whatever steering system you have....
I had ASSUMED they would be plumbed in parallel....hummm....RONG!!!'
so I think this makes it easier....

My power assist is going out and this would be an excellent replacement. If you haven't read the VETTE magazine review, go to the Hydratech web site.
F.Y.I here is the tech link of a great How to install the Hydroboost.

If so then put me down for a Level II Complete system - 1980 Corvette / factory power brakes / factory power steering
and if/when i decided to go to steeroids, what is needed to make it work?
also is the $90 added to the complete kit or is that just for the Lineset-less kit?

So, when customers tell us they are installing our hydraulic brake assist system in conjunction with a rack and pinion conversion, we simply supply a 45 degree fitting on that end of the hose as opposed to a 90 degree fitting. It really is the only difference! Countless customers report back no real preference between the 2 fittings, stating that either one fits fine. I can just as easily supply either one based on your preference.
thanks for the info on the rack & pinion that clears that up.

Some general answers to some of your questions are:
Q: How do the pressure lines hook up?
A: You would remove your existing ps high side line, connect one of our braided stainless, direct fit, lines to the pump, then to the inlet / driver's side of the assist unit. Then you would connect the second braided stainless high pressure line from the passenger side of the assist unit, then route it down to / connect to the steering. The 3rd line is simply a low pressure return line (a heavy duty black rubber hose) that would run from the hose nipple on the assist unit, down to the T fitting you have spliced into your existing ps return line. That's it!
Q: What are the differences between the Level II and the Level III?
A: The Level III is the latest greatest design - ala 2003 - featuring an ever so slightly refined operation, and is also BRAND NEW. The Level II is also a stellar unit, but is of a mid nineties design and is just ever so slightly less refined in its operations by comparison to the Level III. You actually would have a hard time telling the 2 apart in back to back test drives, under most circumstances. So, basically: brand new vs high quality remanufactured. Visually, both levels are of the same show quality appearance. Both are covered by the same one year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship!
Q: What happens if the engine stalls or you suffer a ps belt failure?
A: This, right here, is the primary reason why the Level I has been discontinued. All systems now feature the nitrogen charged pressure accumulator / bottle on the side of the unit. This simply stores up enough pressurized ps fluid to offer up to 2-3 assisted brake applications in the event of engine stall / belt failure. It acts just about how a properly functioning vacuum brake booster would act in the same situation. The minute you start the engine back up again, the accumulator "charges back up" with pressurized ps fluid and is ready for next time.
Q: Can I use my current / original type master cylinder?
A: Yes! Our systems are designed to work with your original master cylinder, so long as it is in 100% proper condition. When in doubt, purchase a new one from us for $89.95 or from your local supplier. The manual brake upgrade kit does function well with the original manual spec master cylinder, though the installation of a power brake spec master cylinder with its 1/8th larger bore size will provide an ever so slightly tighter pedal response.
Q: When can I place my order? How can I pay?
A: As soon as 20 committed purchasers have been placed on the list, you can call in your order at 586-531-2115 (during normal business hours - eastern standard time) stating that you are a verfifiable CF Member, and that you are part of the group purchase.
