Looks great! Tell me, how is the coverage on the door handle? I am getting my nerve up to paint the SVX and can't figure out how to deal with the door handles as well as the space between the door and the panels.

And I agree, the door handles should be painted

the coverage is good on the handles. I just sanded them with 500 grit paper. they are metal on the vette, on my sons truck they were plastic and I sanded them with 320 grit until the texture was gone and they were smooth then sanded with 500 and painted. I am not sure what you mean by the space between the door and the panel

I agree with Scott and Tom, the vette is awesome. And I love the color - it's perfect. BTW, will you be driving the corvette much after it's painted?

Will want to see more pics after it is completed. Thanks for sharing.

I always liked go fast red..
Looks good on anything..
I did my 54 6 cylinder 3 speed in red, it made it look real fast..
I sold it real quick with the red paint job.

That looks fantastic. I have painted 4 cars myself. Tell me a little bit about your booth. Looks like plastic sheet over pvc? How do you have it vented? I'd like to know details and any pictures you have would be very helpful.

Thanks - and again - GREAT job!

I was just going to say the same thing. One of my best friends does high quality paint jobs & restorations, and the masking on this post was the first thing i noticed.

Looks like you are doing a great job, and of course I love the color

send me your e mail I have pics of the booth construction. yes it is 1 inch pvc pipe, plastic sheeting and duct tape. it works supprisingly well and can be taken down and stored because the joints are not glued.
