Is it is lowered. The picture I posted does not show how low it really is. I had just had it in the air putting the wheels back on and it had not settled yet...

After looking around I found some better ones. It's lowered about 1.25 in the front and almost 2 in the rear.

That C5 its next to is lowered also.

Thanks for the reply!

I may just bring my bum down a little and leave the front. I think if I end up with 18"s on the front, then it will look decent that way. I can always hack the front later if it doesn't sit right.

Dayum! That's some miles! Makes me feel a little better about racking up the miles on mine. I am hoping somebody makes engine swaps a little easier before I need a new one. Or that I will be able to at least find a crate LT4 when the time comes.

I have no problems putting money into this car to keep it alive. It's a keeper. I haven't had one of those in quite awhile.

I believe cars are meant to be driven... so I drive them... as often as I can.... I average about 100 miles a day mon-fri, and about 50 or so on the weekends.... car still runs fine.... yeah I was thinking about dropping an LT4 in mine however my mechanic I just need to decide how much power I want and then go from there.... it would be nice to have 400 rwhp out of a 15 yr old car...

Well, I hope you document whatever you do somewhere, so we can have a peek.

fsr402, my apologies for getting your screen name wrong earlier. I was on my mobile device, and did not catch the error until just now.

Sorry 'bout that.

Default Ruby value

Interesting.A common theme with this thread is the appearance of the Ruby cars.Coupes or convertibles, everyone here loves the look. For everyone lucky enough to own one there are 100 potential owners who would love to own one. This car is unique for it's colour treatment.

Unlike 67 big blocks ,L88's, Callaway, Zr1, Z06.this is one of the first Corvettes that has a following simply because of it's beauty.I don't know of any other corvette that can make this claim.Yah I know we all love those 57 fuel cars or a clean 65 roadster,or more recently the Ron Fellows Z06. But I've never heard "Wow that is one beautiful car"more often since I bought my Ruby Roadster.
I'd Like to see a pristine low mile roadster on the block at Barrett Jackson.

Default Canadian Ruby Pics

Unfortunately we are located in the frozen North,(vancouver Island to be exact). The car is tucked in the garage with softop up and hardtop on pads on the rear deck (great winter storage spot). The picture in the avatar was the best I had. I'll dig for some more, and post them soon.

Default Case

I used to be heavily into nw corvette association events Calgary Edmonton Seattle Vancouver. Had a leather briefcase for paperwork and put a 78 anniversary emblem on the front. It was kinda cool for Corvette rules meetings.
PS Hope to get some GOOD pics of the 93 this spring and maybe post them now that I know how.

I did something similar to an 87 Coupe that I owned quite some time ago and I got more looks and compliments than any other of my Corvettes. And I have had some very nice cars!

To each there own. I have never seen a Corvette that I didn't like (in some fashion)
