I choose a .44 magnum. Just the size of it would scare someone. Shooting is a whole different story.

I agree with all of the above (except I prefer a Sig P226 myself), but if you are not in the car, a fuel pump shutoff with a hidden switch is pretty simple. Just don't forget about it. I put one in a '85 TA years ago, and I set it so infrequently that I would sometimes wonder why the car wouldn't start.

All very good answers, I left my Vette out one night a couple of years ago and some dick tried to boost it. Snaped my door latch in half and cut a huge hole in the column housing. He couldn't get past the VATS but he did major damage to my interior after ripping out the stereo.
Still curious what year Vettes are stolen the most...

Quick disconnect on the steering wheel. Set the alarm, remove the wheel and take it in with me. If they want it bad enough to try and drive it with channel locks or something, let them have it.

There is a metal shield that covers the battery so people can't drill it out, let the acid out and kill the alarm. I have the vats bypass....Damn thing wouldnt start with just the regular key even after letting it sit half the time.

Best security system you can get is:

Viper with blue led that flashes when armed, insurance policy, dark tint, locking wheel nuts, steering wheel lock, automatic transmission lock(if equipped), battery shield, vats,.....

One problem, if they have a tow truck, it's still doing bye bye.
