It's a GT Coupe Car. (A market the Corvette by the way has down pretty well). And all the same Ferrari was willing to throw it down against the C7. And frankly it embarrassed itself and Ferrari alike.
What Class? The Slow one? Because their quickest car the 458 Italia, is over 2 seconds a lap slower than a C6 ZO6 ZO7 and that's not even the fastest Corvette.
If I'm buying for looks and speed leaning more on the former, yes I'd get a 458 before a C6 ZO6 or ZR1. If performance is dictating 60 percent of better of the reason I'm buying the car... that 458 is taking the non existent backseat to the Corvette.

I don't think anyone here is suffering any delusion of just how much of an **** kicking the most modern and supreme ferrari fares against the two better corvettes. (The C7 ZO6 by the way, set a lap record at Milford on it's second lap beating the C6 ZR1... and they still have chassis development and tuning to finish yet)
So yeah, I'll place my bets on the C7 Cavalier ZO6 any time against Ferrari :P

C7 vs F12. Base C7 is just a fast fast GT car. the F12... is 700 wasted horsepower.
