Hah, you think you have a problem! My dad wen't and bought a Mustang GT!!! Did I raise him wrong? For 8 years I've told (and showed) how cool cars Corvettes are but nothing...

Maybe I should challenge him for a race and show my point, he could convert - couldn't he? There is always the possibility that I screw up and he whips my azz - that is a serious risk... :bs
Well, anyway - don't worry. There will be time when he grows up and realises it is not cool to play with toys anymore and gets a real car....or maybe a Lada... ;)

Well, I don't know what to tell you. I think your just jealous. I have yet to get a bad remark about my paint job at the track......someplace you are probably way to embarrased to go with that slow foot vette of yours. Even Chevy guys come up to me and like the paint work. Unlike you, I can appreciate good looking cars when I see them, I don't care what emblem is on the hood. Here's another pic for you. More than likely the only one you would ever see of my car.

Pictures don't do it justice. My uncle painted the car, and he insisted on stripes. They are something that look better from a distance. They are not my favorite thing on the car. The silver that is on the front actually has a rainbow of metal flake. It turns all kinds of wicked colors. For those of you who think I hate vette's..........if I had the $$$ I would buy a new Z06 yellow 6 spd convertable with the factory chrome wheels. They are by far the best looking sports car out there.

Son, no trouble intended but have you ever tried to "slay" a Corvette in your GT? Everyone that has stepped up to the plate has been beaten and even most Cobras with the exception of 2 one had slicks and i think nitrous and it was a "riceboy" move to try and race him because i knew i stood absolutely no chance and the other was a 347 Cobra built up pretty good. Not trying to cause any trouble but you know this is the Corvette Forum and remarks like that usually aren't taken real well.
Don't believe me go over to the Rustang forum and post that you killed a Mustang and regardless of how fast your car is its impossible to beat a Mustang with another car

Funny, Mustangs never try to race me here in Oregon. I guess the're still trying to beat the ricers. Maybe once they beat those guys they'll move up to vettes. :D

Dude 13.73 is no major accomplishment. If you were around here I would put a dinner bet on my new 01 being able to hang just fine. I am not trying to be cocky at all. I see all kinds of cars at the track that I respect. I don't think a 16 + second ricer is even fair game so you all can blow those comments out your butt. I have seen very very very few foreign cars that are street driven that are fast. Most of them are Supra's that have TT's. I have put much time and $$$ in my 92 to make it quick, and I appreciate all people who do the same. You act like nothing can beat a vette, and your full of it.

I wonder what the responses would look like in the C3 section. I dont think there are too many C3's that would come close to running with those GT's. I had a GT at the same time I had my 79 Vette and the GT would run circles around it. I'm not supporting the Mustang here...just a fact. I've had 3 Vettes after the GT...enough said.

I made the comment about the back of the Vette's. Yes dp show him the back because thats all he'll see on the road. Mustang.... for the price he paided for that he couls have got a real nice Vette. You have to remind the boy " you can put a terd in a tux and it's still a terd but in a tux" 
LOL I would have to say that the paint job was a big waste of money... The time it takes to do such a paint job verses the way it looks... Should have kept the cash.

Tons of kids at my highschool have mustangs. Mostly the 2 vavle mod motors, and they are quite unimpressive. Of the ones that do run their cars one was a 15.50 and 15.60 for some other kid. I know my car is pretty slow and I try not to talk smack, but i ran a 15 flat when I shifted to 5th instead of 3rd. Sure they probly can't drive good, but its nice to know my old '84 can beat new GTs.

My uncle painted the car dumbass. Obviously you missed that in my other post. It only cost me $1250 which were materials. Second, I have about $24K in my mustang exactly how it sits. If I were to spend that $ on a Vette I would not have a sweet looking car that ran 11's. Instead I would have an old man's high 13's wanna be pimp car! :lol:
Since your all so critical of mustangs let me make one point.......My 4.6L 01 is rated at 260hp/302ftlb @ 281ci. Your Vettes have 300+ HP with 5.7 litre 350ci. My car will run easily in the 13.8's. So my question is why exactly do you think your $30,000+ cars are so superior? My 01 only cost me $23,000.
Like I said before I like anything fast, but you vette guys are all alike. You think your goodie don't stink!!!!!!
