mass air flow censor problem

Default mass air flow censor problem
installed new censor on 1987, will not run right. whats wrong?

You should change the 2 relays that work with the MAF when you change the MAF....The power relay & the burn off relay.
If the burn off relay sticks closed it is bye bye new MAF

Why did you replace the MAF sensor ??
Is the "service engine soon" light, on ??
Are there any stored codes in the cars computer ??
