I've broken 2, count them 2, exhaust rocker studs since Ive had the 383 running. Stock length pushrods, 1.6 rr, 512 lift with the 1.6s. 383 with ported 113s, lt4 springs. Looks like the rockers are riding right on the center of the valve from the looks of the wear. Original roller lifters.
Any ideas??

Reason: add
Found it! the umbrella seals on the exhaust valves. Without the springs in place the measurement between the bottom of the spring retainer to the top of the seal as it sat completely seated was .488. Lift with the 1.6rrs and the cam I run is .512.
Sure wish the guys that rebuilt my heads would have caught that. That is one of the reasons that I gave then the cam specs and told them I would be running 1.6rrs.
The new valves have no provisions for the o-ring seals. So, the question would be what type exhaust seal could I use or should I go back with 1.5rrs for the exhaust that would leave me .008 clearance.

It is pretty common to have to cut the guides down and install aftermarket seals when going for more lift at least in the old days. crane and others made tools for doing this. How about a different retainer with more clearance on the bottom? If you have to cut the guides down the heads have to come off again.. 0.008 clearance is cutting it very close. You might want to take a look at the lifters as well hitting hard enough to break studs certainly did not do them any good. The studs are a lot stronger than the axel in the roller lifter. Checking guide to retainer clearance is Autoshop 101 when installing an aftermarket cam you need a new machince shop..
What seals are you using ?? Lots of guys on here that run that lift with those springs and have no problems, me being one of them. Are you using the LT4 retainers ??
