So you're sure the rear bars won't just fold in half with all those bends???
Wondering why you brought them in so far at the top; mounting them more on the vertical part of the main hoop would've reduced bend angles substantially.

This was a first one. There are things I'd do a little differently next time. If I remember right, welding position was the biggest reason we put the bars up high.

Any ways we finished stage one of the Roll cage Friday night, After getting two top[ straps for my harness from Paul's house, changing my oil and packing I hit the sack at 3:15 AM was up for 5:30 on the road for 6:15. Barly made it to NHIS in time but it all worked out great. The four point is all welded in and ready to go we stiull need to get the two front bars done and get the interior back in.
This really adds to the Character of the Vette. Here are some more photos, enjoy
Fitting the Harness

Re: Project Roll Cage (Patrick96LT4)
Well the update is this, I'll went to the track on Sat & Sun for some Road racing. Ended up going home Sat night after some great laps. No brakes Boiled them one to many times, oil leak which I haven't found yet and I developed a miss:( After not being home for 7 day I needed to get caught up with work and home life. I'll post some more updates as we move forward. Keep in mind I'm working 65-70 hrs a week and trying to squeese this in.
Sat I'm doing Kevin's exhaust and doing a GS brake upgrade for Mr Magoo
I'll keep posting
