My 1st day off has been fun and its in the way. I'm ready to rock and roll.

I'm starting to accept that I'm just to dang busy to work on my car. My wife finally said screw it started a vacation without me. Consequently I'm going to stay up late and start on my car tonight...

Put the old trans in to check fit. I like when bolts fall in the hole as if it was made that way

Some things get close. I do have a lil more room using the auto c beam. No worries on plug number 8. Just enough clearance on the ac compressor. I also used the truck balancer on the pulley setup.

I'm very happy today after it all fit after being built on a engine stand

Ever since I sat the motor in the hood would not close. After I got it on the lift finally found my problem. The turbo was suppose to set where the smog pump was originally. It wound up about 1/2 inch forward of where I planned. I can rotate the housing and the hood close but the outlet is pointed in the wrong direction. No big deal just cut the hood and all is good. I just hate I planned one thing and it winds up into another project to fix.

This is the most that's been put together. The lift made my life much easier. Radiator condenser and inter cooler are almost installed. Will be working on cold side and new and improved front air dam this week. Gotta keep momentum going on this

That's incredible, I appreciate the variety of skills you have to put into this. Something that required me cutting and redoing something on the hood would probably be a deal killer for me!

Are you going to do anything else to increase underhood airflow?

You don't learn unless you get out and do it.

Lots I want to do. Running and driving is top of the list. I am working on a new air dam. Just didn't like the way the other one looked...but it would keep the l98 cool going down the road even with the radiator half full.

It's the only one like it the wilwood makes. It could be adjustable if mounted inside the car

500 rwp should be fine at first.

I am working on it, just most I've done is unseen and fine tuning for fitting.
This is one of those pieces that can't be bought and takes hrs to make
