Nice and wide power band and congratulations! Have to wonder if a vacuum pump could add some top end power to a high RPM motor like yours. Have you considered a vacuum pump for ring seal, ring flutter and blowby?

..... I thought the heads would bottleneck it but it turns out that the intake is choking the little guy ... not too surprising considering that I kept it under the stock hood ! ... Edelbrock Victor E ported by Eric Weingartner and an Accufab 4bbl throttle body that supposedly flows 1200 cfm ... Vacuum during the pull went from 1.05" to 1.76" @ 7000 rpm ..... from 99kpa to 95kpa ..... We were just starting to tune it when the fuel flow meter on the dyno started putting out some strange readings ... I had a WBO2S in but it was primarily reading the #8 cylinder because of where the bung was located on the dyno headers ..... There was likely 10-15hp left on the table when we quit making pulls .....

..... Thanks ! ... I bracket race ... this is not a max effort , squeeze every last pony out of it deal ... and I spend all my money keeping this rig going , so there's no extra $ for extravagance ... I personally do not consider 7000 rpm to be a high rpm motor .....

Looks solid.

I wish you would have been able to really tune on it.

..... Me Too ! … the BSFC curve was the same shape but the #'s dropped to 0.17-0.18 with fuel flow showing 80's gph - 120 gph … and the power curve was the same (or very close) to the dyno sheet in post #1 … Its a Miracle ! … Thanks for your help ! …..
