Curious if the NW throttle body is by wire or by cable? I'm not 100% sure on which way your going to set-up your car? I think that most drive by-wire setups use the front cam sensor pick-up and you have to install the drive by wire accelerator pedal. I went the drive by cable and re-used my stock accelerator pedal. The by-wire set-up is more complicated by will give you options down the road for the newer transmissions setups.

I agree, I'm gathering stuff for my LS swap and the LS realted stuff seems to be a lot more expensive than SBC stuff (even though it can't cost anymore to make).

Kind of goes both ways I guess. I got an entire intake loaded with fuel rails and injectors with TB for $550 for the LS. I don't think you could do that for a SBC intake that fits under the hood. On the flip side a ******* oil pan for the LS is $400 for an F Body pan
I have a Camaro oil pan on my swap and I paid $125 for it used with sump tube included. I original had a Corvette pan with a Batwing, but when I put the Melrose Headers on I had to change, the pan. I also have a DBW setup that I was going to put on, but I brought a Edelbrock 90 MM TB, and don't want to spend the $$$ to buy another TB, I am saving up for a Procharger. I put a roll bar in the Vette over the winter. I was told by the tech official at Atco to slow the car down on the last day of test and tune last year.

I run one of those cheap ebay 102mm cheap Chinese throttle bodies, that came with the TPS and IAC electronic parts. I remember it was less than $100. The IAC valve is pretty noisy, when the engine is cold (it whistles), I guess you could use a grind and smooth out the sharp edges.
I used the Holley low clearance oil pan, but I don't remember paying that much for it, of course that was 3-4 years ago. Our Canadian dollar was near par with the US back then.

Was that pan gold plated?
They are expensive-(I paid about $250 for mine) but the ls platform will be worth it in the end.
They are C5 headers. somewhere earlier in this thread somebody posted some pictures of some headers that look like C5 headers cut off at the collector with a bend welded in. Instead of buying swap headers for $600+ I got these for $180. I reached out to the vendor on eBay and was surprised to find that these have a 3/8 thick mounting flange, constructed of 16ga metal, so I ordered them. They are actually half *** decent pieces. Fitment obviously doesn't matter to me because I'm going to cut them up anyway. I fully expect the paint to flake off within 5 minutes of the engine running lol
At that point I would likely wrap them to keep under hood temp down

Cool! thanks for the info. You can always ceramic coat them after your done modifying them to fit for corrosion protection.
I'm looking forward to seeing how much (or little) work it will take to make the C5 headers work. Nice that they are 1 7/8 primaries, should be worth a little more HP compared to 1 3/4.

This is also part of the reason I bought them. I asked Melrose if they would be able to build me a header with an inch and 7/8 primary and they said no. if they were able to do it I would have justified the money for being a direct bolt in.

Ya I've also been on the hunt for 1 7/8 LS swap headers since the 1 3/4 melarose headers are a little small for the 6.0L LS2 i'm planning to use in my 88'. I did find a place called BRP muscle rods that makes some for like $1000+ but they had very bad reviews, and that is a LOT of money to spend and find out that may not even don't fit properly.
It seems like the C5 headers you have might be a great option if they fit without too much modification. I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out. I really hope that it is just a matter of changing the angle of the collector, that would be really great news for anybody planning a C4 LS swap.

I stumbled across those too and had the same thoughts. $1000 is a ****** pile of money for headers IMO. I will make these bitches fit just because I know it can be done (someone else has) and I don't want to spend the money on it lol
Ya no way I'm paying $1000+ USD ($1350CAD) for the unproven BRP headers!
Another crazy header thought that had crossed my mind was to cut off the flange and say the last 6 or 8 inches off my existing SBC C4 headers and use a LS flange and some pieces of bent pipe to turn my existing C4 headers into LS swap Headers, I'm not sure how much work that would be though.....
Using the C5 headers will proabbly be less work I imagine. I look forward to seeing how it turns out
Wow those C5 header look sweet, but the C5 collector takes a bend towards the bell housing and transitions backwards over the torque tube. I'm going out on a limb that your going to hack a decent piece (pie cut) and straighten out the collector. If you have access to a tig welder you could almost make them look factory.
I was wondering if the C10 LS swap headers or camaro LS swap headers would fit? There lots of room to fit headers on these cars once you get the AC evaporator out of the way. I started up my car earlier this week to find out one of spark plug wires wasn't connected fully to the spark plug. Was the first time this year I got to drive my car. Just about everyone stopped to take a look at the car and try to race me at what ever stop light I stopped at. Those 1 7/8 tubes makes my headers look pretty tiny.

I have a grinder and a welder, I can build anything lmao. If it doesn't fit, just cut it up and try again

Ever consider buying flanges and making your own?
I kind of thought about it but figured it was easier to buy a set that was already built and just hack up the collector area. I've never welded a set of headers before

The swap price depends on how much power you want. You can do the swap pretty cheap if you wanted to. My LS swap wasn't that expensive to do, but I got a decent deal on a low miler LQ9 engine that came with a brand new 05 vette accessory kit. My costs all in where cheaper than buying a built 383 at 430HP. If you own an early C4, you have to buy computer fuel management system regardless. There is so more benefits to running a LS set-up. My old L98 set-up was just a nightmare to work on. I'm glad its long gone from my car.
