To be honest, I haven't given it much though.... however on Corvette central's LS swap tech page they are using the SLP Tri-Claw intake with an LS engine.
https://tech.corvettecentral.com/201...-c4-corvettes/

They have a section in the above article about the intake which says they used a 1997 Firebird bellows to connect the intake to the MAF, But they are using a MAF setup. If your using a SD system then it might be different but You could just use a small piece of pipe in place of a MAF worst case....

I think there might also be a small company based in ontario, Canada that makes custom stuff like bellows etc...I'll have to look into it and see if I can find thier name again. There may be some off the self part avaliable though I just haven't looked into it yet.

Anyone else have any suggestions....

This is good information! I like the SLP claw idea better than modding the radiator shroud etc

Thanks for your input!

Looks like that bellows they used is $60 on The Bay.

Hopefully I can score an intake used. They are $300 new

Ya that is the one down side is the claw intake is pricey if you have to buy it new...hope you can find a used one.

I just found this company, looks like they make all kinds of ducting stuff, hopefully they have something that will work well for the bellows for SD car...

Just wanted to share this website with you guys
http://www.improvedracing.com/crank-...kit-p-519.html

For the guys needing extra clearance this windage kit you can run aftermarket rods and 4.0+inch stroker cranks.

Neato site, they even sell Holley 302-2 pans, that been modified to clear the 4in stroke crank.

Thanks for sharing Mike, Improved racing looks like it has lots of neat stuff. I'm planing to get their cranks scraper and oil pan baffels. Investing a bit of money in an engine's oiling system is a really good idea IMO.

These aren't the best photos but there is a lot of clearance around the bellhousing on my setup.

Beautiful!! Looks like I shouldn't have too much problem with the headers if they are close in dimensions to yours.

Went down to West Bend Dyno to get this big ol box. Inside is the Holley Mid-mount accessory drive!

Nice looking water pump housing, I like the black powder coating. I see that you pick-up a MSD LS set-up? You still going with fast?

I can't wait to see what your engine will looking like in the car.

You are spending way too much money on this... Haha.... I promise when you are done, you won't give two flips. She will be a hoot to drive.

Jeremy, with you running that front accessory kit, I bet there going to be a ton of room to run turbo headers, if you want to upgrade to a boost adder. My C6 accessory kit takes up way to much under hood space and blocks the use of the turbo headers.I'm going to find something or make something different to use down the road.

Should make for a nice looking engine. Curious on which valve covers your going with?

I'm still going to run the FAST ECU. The reason for the MSD is that the fast LS spark controller didn't have the same functionality at the same price point.

That's part of my decision in this. Haven't picked VCs yet. I also selected this because it's complete. I didn't want to spend weeks hunting down accessory drive parts

My project has been delayed. I picked up my parts and my block from the machinist because he hasn't been able to get to them and won't be able to for some time. Going to a different place tomorrow.

on a side note this v8 engine block looks like a toy in the back of my Park Ave. Easily a 6 body trunk!
