Thanks! Yeah its really friggin cramped in there. The guy had to hunt for a spot just to stick the MSD box! It ended up near the front drivers side just behind the built in radar detector. Part of the reason I didn't do an 8 rib or cog setup was space. Maybe the 8 rib could have fit ok, but it still would have been a close fit! I gotta get my lower radiator support swapped to my new one soon. The front chin spoiler was shot when i got it, and it had broken off part of the radiator support along with it, so I've got the new ones sitting at the house, just trying to find time to put them on. Should have me without a car for a week since dad will be helping me out with that one and we'll only work on it at nights and maybe a weekend.

Man, it's too bad I didn't know that because I have a whole radiator shroud assembly in my garage (including the dual fan assembly) that I will never use (along with several other L98 parts) that I was thinking about throwing away... I would have gave it to you if you wanted to pay postage. I also have the upper and lower radiator supports, A/C condendor unit, a brand new chrome alternator bracket with chrome bolt, a brand new alternator, a front leaf spring (non-z51), camber bars, a whole set of saw blade wheel and tires, several earl's and russl fittings, probably over 100 foot of braided steel hose (which I guess I'll keep) and on and on...

Jeez Tony! Put that stuff up for sale in the used C4 parts section and you recoup all of you costs for the new radiator

Here is a link to some of the pictures I have taken so far. They were kindof scattered throughout this long thread so I thought it was better to have all in one place; and this way TJWong can have his server space back as well as my brother (thanks). I will be adding more as soon as I get my digital camera back from repairs of my suspension and hood fiberglassing work, A/C hoses... stay tuned..I will also post some pitcures of the completed revised engine as soon as I get my radiator back....As far as I'm concerned this car is ready to hit the road except for the missing radiator...

I was being serious! I wish I had a butt load of parts like that laying around, but I don't. So, I'd have to sell my kidney to get any trade in value for stuff for my car.

Ya, but if you have a buttload of parts that means that you've spent money to replace those extra parts...like that brand new alternator...I bought a chrome one instead....replaced the saw blades (which are in mint condition I might add) with repop a-molds .and on and on... I could not recoup even a small fraction of the money I've wasted... I mean invested in this car... but it's all good at least for now...

Did any of you notice that the maroon twin turbo Vette is For Sale in the link on this forum for TT Pictures? I wonder how much he wants for it? VVV90, it sounds like a great toy for you to "invest" in....

Oooooh Yeeeeah! I saw that one before. Sorry, I don't have a spare $60k laying around.

...don't know how much it's worth but I'll assume it's too much. Damn, if only I was rich.

Is that how much he wants? Hey, it's cheaper than having it done by someone... I can guarantee you that he has A LOT more than that in the car.. .Just do like my mom used to at KMart and put that bad boy on Layaway....It makes me want to drive mt car REAL bad... He has the same coil over and rear suspension set up as I have... I needs to get on D road......

I just emailed him asking how much. Believe me, if I had $60k for a sports car, I would buy something someone already built. You get it for penny's on the dollar. Look at the C3 I just bought. Someone put almost $15k into restoring the car, and that's on top of what the car was worth. ... I picked the whole thing up 44 miles after resto for $15k.

Soooo, Tony, how much are you going to sell your car for?

That's what I was hoping you'd say. If I was going to invest that kind of money, I'd want to keep it around. Unlike some people. Case in point: Have you ever seen Merlin? I'll see if I can find the link. It's a guy in the C3 section who put $200k, YES, TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS into a 532ci dual twin screw blown vette. (1600hp) Got it on the road for like 3 months, then sold it on Ebay for $75-80k.

I have respect for the guy don't get me wrong, but COME ON! That's a car I'd keep and pass on to my kids!

I guess his old webpage is nolonger, but the new owner is now a forum member, here's a link to his sig w/ one BAD **** picture:

I haven't seen him, but BIG632 was on the motor mod thread and has a 632" screw supercharger in about a mid 70s vette and that thing just looks scary as heck.. He runs 7.50s in the 1/4.. beautiful car... I figure I have at the most $50k in mine... Really pretty much chump change compared to what others spend on theirs or even a used exotic. I don't care.. it was a challenge that I wanted solve so I did it... I am going to have fun playing with those high dollar exotics (and yes perhaps a few c6s this fall) and will have a blast.... Just like John Meanie says... it only has a chip and an aftermarket exhaust.....nothing special here... "not a plastic exlposive or anything" (Caddyshack)
