Thanks for the response. Keeping this thread alive.
Im going from Stick to Auto in my FRC. I got the full harness from a same year Auto car. My manual wiring harness did not run to the connection of the swith under the clutch pedal. So are you saying I do nothing with the wires that went to the switch under my clutch pedal becouse the Auto wiring harness gets its safety start another way? Again thanks for your brain cells on this.

Sorry I missed it. When you add the RPM harness that controlls the auto tranny you'll pick up the purple and yellow wires in the engine compartment on C146. The purple and Yellow wires run through the tranny harness on the automatics to the saftey switch on the transmission that only allows you to start the car in park or neutral.
If that does not help drop me a Pm and I'll give you my mobile #.
I just ran wires from the neutral safety switch to the purple and yellow on the clutch pedal. But i still have the 6 speed harness so to me that looked the best way. I didnt touch any wires at the pcm. I also grabbed the reverse lights from that orange connector on the 6 speed harness and ran them to the nss.

O..ok.. I got swapped full wiring harness's with a auto guy. I ran the harness already and at the pcm under the battery everything connected. Only thing is that I know have one extra round harness (its wrapped with the white tape). I assume its the one harness that is automatic specific.
Does the harness that you used from PCS TCM 2000 connect to it? Im going to use them like you did. Hope that made sense.. lol

i dont think so, when using the pcs 2000 you only hook up a couple wires. Your doing it different than i did. Id call RPM and ask.
I hope the OP dont mind but this thread has so much great info on doing Auto swaps that im going to add some of my progress to it.
Well last week I drove half way to another CorvetteForum member who wanted to do a 6speed conversion and me wanting to do a Auto conversion in my FRC. So we meet up and swapped parts. Here is a pic of all the Auto stuff I got from him.
Then got on the phone with RPM and ordered the PCS TCM-2000 automatic transmission controller. Also ordered a stronger converter drive plate. Im going to call RPM back and order the stronger FlexPlate assembly this week.
Im almost done with my auto conversion here are some pics,
Here is the part number and fitting if you want to adapt a factory trans line to a -6. I think this is valuable becouse I ordered 3 different fittings trying to find the right one. Many people have give the wrong fitting size for this adaption.
Stock Converter drive plate vs. QuickTime upgraded one.
Im about to call RPM to see if they can walk me threw a base tune for the trans. Another funny issue is for some reason my brake lights stay on when I turn the key to accessories?
Any ideas why my brake lights are on all the time? I must have something wired funny or am I missing a wire I should have wired up for the auto?

Without the ignition on does your brake lights work ?
Figured it out..lol.. it was just the switch above brake pedal out of position.. I moved it down. guess i forgot when I changed out the pedal. Issue now is a trans leak at the union of factory line and -6 line. Sucks cuz I have to take all exhaust and headers out to get back to it!
if you get the tcs2000, you will not need an auto harness from an 01+ car OR rpm's adapter harness, just the tcs2000 and hook to trans and ur good to go and tune it with the controller, not from the tuner himself? sounds like a lot easier route. i'd be spending close to $500 just for all the wiring compared to $700ish for controller.. seems worth the 200 to me!

That's right just the controller and the harness that goes with it. The pcs comes with its own software to tune off of.
Might have gotten lost in the terminology. I meant the assembly on the flywheel, not the converter. Sort of seems like there are 2 flex plates.
Thanks.
My guess is around 550HP or more it's time to upgrade. By then the Torque tube inners also need to be upgraded. At some point when the couplers start to deteriorate you'll need to pull everything down anyways and that's when I would take care of it along with a blow housing.
