That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the pic.
I think I'll make my own.
The easiest thing to do on the bracket is get an extra rear bracket(the one that bolts to the transmission) and cut it down. It has the same hole and works really nice.
The wiring will not reach the front of the car as it comees from PCS. The harness could be extended or you could mount the box in the rear of the car or in the passenger compartment. I have done them both ways.....
Thanks Rodney.
Do I still have to get my PCM programmed since I'm using a separate controller?
I'm sure I'll have more questions
You should only need to have the code for the skip shift and reverse lock out solenoids turned off to avoid a check engine light.
I will be glad to walk you through the programming of the PCS box when the time comes. We have three auto swap cars in the shop right now going on.
Also if your car is a Z06 the code for the transmission fluid overtemp sensor will need shut off.

For sure gonna need help with that.
Do I need to get a tranny temp guage or will I be able to read that through the dic?
Thanks

You will need to use a laptop to program the PCS controller. The PCS software has a nice dash screen that displays RPM,Vechice speed,TPS,Trans temp,etc.... you will be able to use this with the laptop in the car. If you want a more permanent set up you will need to install a guage of some sort. The factory dic will not read trans temp with a stick file in the pcm.

So can I run a auto file in the PCM or will it throw a lot of codes when using this controller?
Thanks

ya tell me about it. This controller better be worth .5 a sec lol

The computers are the same from both cars, its only the file that is installed that makes the difference. The swap using a factory PCM to control the transmission has been done many times by us and others. It does require more wiring and a fresh start on a tune. The PCS box is a nice piece that is very user friendly and is a very fast controller. The tuning on the transmission is MUCH simplier with the PSC box as it only looks at TPS,RPM and Vechicle Speed. There is no shift times, torque management,etc.... We use the PCS boxes for all of the C6 Z06 swaps, same box for a 4L60E as a 4L80E. When you start dealing with the factory PCM the trans line pressure is controlled from calculate torque and when you start running big injectors and funky scaling you can run into isuues that will cause transmission faliure. The PCS box eleminates all of this.

You can start with a auto file if you want to play around with it. I assure you it will not affect the transmission or the PCs controller. You will get a LOT of codes and I'm not sure how things will act if you go through and just start turning them all off.

Thinking about it if i do an auto file it still wont be able to tell me cause the tranny is not hooked up to the pcm. so it wont know anyway. so i guess the best way is to just add a guage, cause i dont wanna have to drive with the laptop all the time.
i plan on doing some wiring tomrrow, when u say passanger compartment are we talking about glove box or the armrest cover thing.
well decide to put the controller behind the passanger seat, ran the wires for the tranny to threw e-brake hole.
so here is the wires i need to connect to now. Before i dig threw the schematics if u know where it goes or have a pic for me post it up.
Rodney ill be giving u a call tomrrow for sure.
wires i need to connect
can bus
option connector
digitial in 5
digitial in 6
digitial in 7
pwm out 4
pwm out 5
spare analog input
brake light
speedometer
tachometer ground
output shaft speed sensor
input shaft speed sensor

Thanks for the suggestion. Once I get my project started, I'll be in touch about a wiring harness. I'm supposedly getting a complete harness from an 02 auto car. Although, I'm not entirely sure what "Complete" is.
