The shifter cable will probably work alright if you can make a bracket to hold the front part where it is separated. I could not find the OEM bracket anywhere. I was told that it was discontinued by GM. I rigged my own bracket. It is not as sturdy as it needs to be. I have to feel when the tranny goes into R or D. I know where to find them so it is not a big problem for me. It goes into park just fine. I don't need to manually shift to 1, 2, or 3 using the shifter. I have a toggle switch on the console for that. I am using the fast/tci tranny controller on my Z06.Good luck with your swap.

The one on the floor is the safety. Purple and Yellow wire. They'll be going to your tranny safety switch which is physically located on the transmission.
The one on the top of the pedal is for your cruise control which is redundant and also on your brake pedal.

Cool, so i can leave the top one alone and then connect the bottom one to the safety switch on the tranny.
