I have read all the posts, I have met most of the people posting on this thread, I have seen some of the damage done by MMS in person, My engine blew up too... I had to buy a new one with all the bells and whistles.... so many shops worked on it... I dont know who to blame and at this point I dont care anymore. Its my car and I have to take responsibility for getting caught up in the hype of getting High Performance Mods installed on my car and tuning that was on the edge just to make the MOST HP I COULD GET...

This thread is not helping the brotherhood of F/I on the CF... Do what you can to promote it... not destroy it...

Ching... Ching...

Mike was very arrogant and did sub-par work.
Anytime anyone acts like that, I don't trust them.

I cancelled my All-Bore w/MMS over 2 years ago after getting weird vibes. It seemed like they were floating checks and money back then. I got ripped off a bit walking away from the deal, but am glad I did. Probably only lost 25% of my money and never had to deal with an MMS engine in my car.

At the time they were advertisers it was hard to post anything. Unfortunately the forum in general with all of the Cheerleading and 'no-bashing' policies makes it hard to warn anyone publicly.

ARE was also quite a mess off and on. Guess they've changed management a few times. I'd avoid also.

I stick with MTI only now when it comes to bottom-end motor work.
Other good names for various specialities: A&A, LPE.
I ordered my new set of heads from Patriot also. Haven't tried them yet.

You definately got some GREAT feedback!!!

By the way, I could have used all this information several years ago now...Mike tried to start up a satellite install facility in Colorado and I warned several of them....Boy, did I get some feedback for that warning!!! All but one of the victims did actually learn their lessen, though....too bad too....

Mike, if your out there, I told you it was coming....

Hey Todd.......

I pulled these Mike Morgan quotations off the CF.

#1
"I'm 100% confident in our business and our capabilities, why should I worry?"
#2
"I could care less about impressions or feelings. I treat everyone accordingly. "

When I think of all the money I wasted on Flatbed fee's alone I could ..Just the sight of there discustingly filthy shop was enough to make me want to hurl my lunch..I hear Mike Morgan has a new book out titled "The art of Pathetic Customer service and how to rip off people with a smile and NEVER return there calls" !!

I stopped my MMS one time two years ago on a trip to LA - I was considering a H/C upgrade at the time and kept seeing the hype here about Morgan. I spent about 20 minutes looking at the yard & shop (not once did someone ask either a) what was I doing, or b) could they help me). Anyway, after getting a good look at the shop and the operations, I decided that I'd never use them for anything, whatever their reputation. Dirtiest shop I've ever seen, including several C5s and F bodies in the yard with the hoods off, windows part way down and not even a tarp over the cars. Completely, totally disgusting.

100!!!!! That's pretty good! It took me only 20 miles before mine died and had to be towed up to Andy's for a complete rework!

Hey Jeff, send me some pics of that yellow snake. What were the final dyno numbers on her?

Mike , I've said it before and I'll say it again..Thank God for Andy

After I had my motor rebuilt by Andy all of my problems went away...The car runs like a champ now .

At 12 Lbs of Boost I put down 835 RWHP and 935 RWTQ..I've got a buddy in Dallas with the same set up on his Viper , he cranked his boost up to 16 Lbs and hit 1006 RWHP. I'm more on the conservative side

Now that MMS is gone and Andy is here, I heard that there is a significant increase in unemployment in the Southern California Towing Industry!
Sad how something like that spreads across the entire economy!
A good result though for my real estate business is that my Corvette driving clients have more net spendable income due to fewer unnecessary modding expenses and Real Estate is booming! Strange how the economy works!

Wow, it's funny how things change. I haven't visited here for a while and I remember reading the same thread about 2 years ago and almost everyone here defended MMS all the way. I know a few of you guys here personally and saw all of the problems back then, glad all of you guys finally realized the truth.

BTW: where is Mike?

Unfortunately I still am running MMS's H/C set up. I've broke 2 valve springs and two other tuners said they don't think it's a failure from the actual spring which makes me nervous. I bought some heavy duty springs from Andy and so far so good.

If i were to bring my car to Andy what exactly would he do? Would he replace the whole package or was there an exact area that Mike overlooked?

For some reason i think i know what all your answers will be.
