Not trying to be rude or anything, cause I really feel for you, but is it really false advertising? I would think that a court would just laugh because you accepted to buy the car at that price. You should have done your homework first and realized when you were negotiating that 23.9 was listed. Seems to me like they would have you there. I mean, if anyone was willing to buy something I was selling for more than I was asking, I would sell it. But again, I am not trying to get you stirred up, I was just wondering. I really hope you get it worked out, but next time, dont settle for a vette just cause you have the fever. Wait for the right one
An advertised price is merely an invitation to negotiate. It is NOT the contract price. Buyer beware.
Was there a 30 day warranty with the car?. I believe that in FL an auto must be sold in legally serviceable condition, i.e. brakes, horn, turn signals, etc must meet state requirements, or seller may be in breech of applicable Fl law. Check it out.

Good Luck!!!!
Perhaps you're right, I don't know. As a business, I'd think they'd be bound by what they advertise.
In any case, if they don't resolve it somehow, they WILL be spending a few thousand dollars defending themselves in court.
I will see to that.
They WILL pay more to not give me my money back in the first place, I don't care if I win or not.
I will drag this out with as many options as I possibly can.

Thanks, I will check that out. I believe someone else in the thread mentioned that about the turn signals, too.

Might ne your best and cheapest route. They for sure dont want to get in trouble with their dealers license.
I just thought of something very important, since we got on the subject of turn signals.
The front turn signal LIGHTS were out when I bought the car. The dealer even KNEW they were out. He asked me if anything was wrong with the car, and I TOLD him the front turn signal lights were out.
Then, when I came home, the blinker module itself starting fritzing out.
The salesman guy KNEW FOR A FACT the front signal lights were dis-operational to some extent when he sold it to me. I think he even wrote it down.

If it were me, I would take it back. Electrical gremlins can be very expensive to diagnose and fix and the price would be an issue with me. See what they will do. Good luck.

When I bought my car from them. Yes there was a 30 day warranty, but it was power train only. My blinkers were working fine, until I had to test the hazard lights. My key fobs did not work either. They told me to take it to a dealer and let them know how much. I posted here on the forum and had them fixed in 12 min.
I live in Palm Bay, FL (east coast), they are in Tampa (west coast). I bought my Vette on a Saturday. They told me that if my wife did not like the car and was going to leave me , I could bring the car back on Monday (3 days).
This car dealer was very easy to work with. I hope this works out for you.
I have always lived by this saying. The Bitterness of Poor Quality is Remembered Long After the Sweetness of Low Price Has Been Forgotten!! I hope they let you return it. Good Luck!
It all comes down to......Buyer Beware!!!
Don`t hand over that kind of cash without doing your homework and till you`re satisfied with the vehicle and all the fine print that goes with it!
