They found a sucker in you..I would bring it back and get your money back if at all possible..Most of all if you get a different one then take some time and check it out..every little thing and get it looked at first.

I just got off the phone with the salesman who sold it to me.

It seems they forgot a key little piece of paper.

I never signed, and he totally forgot about, my bank draft for my loan. I have it right here in my hands.

Don't ask me HOW the hell he forgot. I'd say it's the most important piece of paper they want to get. I haven't officially even paid any money for this car yet. The dealership needs the bank draft to get money from my bank.

They're screwed. I'm taking the car back tonight.

Fight for yor rights man.Go there and even don`t be nice.It seems like they`re dishonest people. They deserved this.Customer satisfaction should comes first, and basically you r not satisfied.Tell them u will pay 22 k max(including tires ,bttry).Otherwise u don`t want the car.And if they don,t take the offer, get your money back, and shop around.I am sure u will find a clean, nice one with a good price just be patient.I looked for mine more than a month. And I am very very pleased with it.

Now part out the car (jk)

They'll give it back, or they're not getting the car back. Pretty simple.

I have them by the *****.

I don't get off work until 3:30 EST, then gonna drive down there. It's about an hour away from me.

Next time, I'm buying a car closer to me.

Last car I bought was 800+ miles away

Flew out, picked up, drove home... its worth doing for the right price on the exact car that I've always wanted!

And, it makes me happy that you have them by the *****, they tried to screw you over and now they aren't getting a thing out of it

Hey guys...

Just got back from Tampa. I am HAPPY to say I am Vette-less, in this situation. Got every penny back, and my $4,000 down is going back in my bank.

They couldn't do a damn thing without that bank draft.

I went there with my dad because I had to, for obvious reasons, use two vehicles.

My salesman was standing out front smoking when he saw both of us pull up, and I'm sure he was thinking "Yeah, he's not keeping it, and there's not a damn thing I can do" when he saw us.

The salesman and the general manager were both nice, and I don't really mean to slight them. Maybe they didn't know about the electrical problems, maybe they did.

However, the salesman wanted me to talk to one of the owners. So we go in his office, and he tries ten ways from Sunday to get me to let them fix it, take it to Chevy, etc. They didn't offer me JACK to fix it when I was buying the car. I even ASKED if they would fix the turn signals, and my salesman told me they operate on very thin margins and couldn't afford it.

So, after the owner asked me about 5 times if he would let them fix it, I kept telling him "No, I don't want it" he finally turned into a smartass and raised his voice saying "WELL FINE, YOU'RE IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT ON THIS SINCE WE NEVER GOT THE BANK DRAFT...YOU'RE GONNA DO WHAT YOU WANT ANYWAY, SO LET'S JUST GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK." Those were almost his exact words.

I just politely said, in a slightly raised tone, "Excellent!" and laughed. He knew he was up shiz creek without a paddle.

I bet you, if any of you guys live in Tampa and near Hillsboro Auto Mart, they'll have that Vette out there tomorrow trying to sell it without fixing the blinkers.

I guarantee it.

Look for a Pewter 6 speed with 50K odd miles...see if it's there. Hell, if any of you are ambitious, pretend like you're interested in it and ask them if they are any electrical problems.

By the way, I let them have the $80 battery with an 8 year warranty. If I had a spare to throw in it, I would have kept it, heh...

All in all, it was an interested weekend.

Thank God they got what they deserved. Sales guy is in the S can for forgetting to actually get the money....."My salesman was standing out front smoking" That was his final request before the firing squad nailed him!
