I took the code readings with my Predator Handheld Tuner. What a mistake, It was way off and was giving me codes that it pulled out of nowhere. I was getting help from forum member Bill Curlee, who spent a lot of time helping me. The problem turned out to be corroded connections to the right rear wheel sensors. The Predator gave me 49 different codes, none of which were correct. After going through lots of procedures outlined by Bill and still no success. So I tried reading the codes the old fashion way of pressing options and the fuel button 4 times. The only codes that came up was the right rear wheel sensors. So when I told Bill (who did not know that I was reading codes with the Predator) he gave me some simple instructions on cleaning the related connections. BINGO, problem solved. What I want others to know is don’t use a Predator to read codes and do a through search of electrical problems on the forum, before asking for help. The following post by Bill will help with many problems.
Why this is not a sticky is beyond me. This should be first reading for anyone with electrical problems. I also want to thank Bill for all his help. It is people like him that make this forum what it is. GREAT!!!
