Mine is a 'recreational driver' only! My DD is the GMC Suburban. The 04 vert is pretty impracticle for much of anything but touring. It doesn't hold much cargo and can only sit 2 people so it doesn't do the family much good. I put some mods on it and drive it for the thrill of it! Then I park it in it's designated spot in the garage and there she sits,,,,til the next ride!

Life is too short not to drive your Corvette everyday.

I feel for these poor folks who think that they'd rather have a beater or a "daily driver" than be behind the wheel of their Corvette.

Who'd rather drive a truck or a sedan or a lesser vehicle?

Everyday, everywhere! (exept for snow, so this winter in Ohio just about everyday) I enjoy the view from behind the steering wheel driving down the road more than through the veiwfinder of a camera. If the Vette's paint gets tired, I'll repaint it. If something breaks , I'll replace it with something better than stock . Have fun and enjoy your Vette!

Me too. I'm not crazy about it, but I do it. I continue to shop for an AWD daily beater of some kind.

Robin - another Albuquerque Silver C5 wilth Magnesium rims here. Drive it every day. You will LOVE it.

I commute High Desert/Downtown and do what I can to keep the wave alive. Hopefully we'll run across each other.

The only thing I see this cat crying about is the brake rotors pulsating and wear. Could it simply be the driver??

I drove mine nearly every day when I first got it. Now I live on a dirt road so I am waiting for the county to pave the road. With the exception of the tires, this is the most sensible vehicle on the road.
My 99FRC has been the most dependable car I have owned, that includes HONDAS!! (Knocking on wood as I type). I have nearly 60,000 miles on my current factory brakes, no pulsating and no over heating.

Oh Yeah, this post useless without pix's

Have fun

I still can't figure out how anyone can buy one of these cars and not want to drive it all the time. It's all I've wanted to drive since I got it
