Maybe you should actually take some time to read that thing called the Constitution. Unlawful search and seizure? Gee, what was searched and what was seized? Absolutely nothing. The 4th Amendment to the Constitution was not written "to stop this sort of thing". Here you go:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Tell me, where in that paragraph do you read anything about stopping a Corvette on reasonable suspicion???

I think cops should be out fighting crime, not following vettes.

How do you know what he was thinking. Maybe he was just going your way.

I have read it many times. Do you see the "but upon probable cause" bit? The police should not be able to pull you over, detain you, search you, interrogate you, come into your house, etc. without probable cause. They didn't put anything about cars in there because they didn't exist at that time but they did speak about your person, house, papers and effects. I have no problem with a cop detaining someone who has done something wrong but if they have not, leave them the he## alone!

Gee, what was searched and what was seized?
If you use that mentality then why not let the police randomly walk into your house just to do "safety" checks? Nothing is searched or seized.

The more I read your post the more I wonder if you are really old enough to own a car... this statement above is typical of an 8 year old..........

Lets see, you bought a stolen bike... it belongs to someone else... Not you...
it's called receiving stolen goods.. your lucky they didn't arrest you.
Unlawful for the police to impound a stolen vehicle..???? Again where dop you get this crap......they needed time to find the real owner... you make statements like going to the chief ( I'M telling your daddy ) unlawful for the police....... where do you get this crap...
you're a young kind that is delusional when things dont go your way..in the eyes of a child , your logic works...
your a show off...
show off ...... I paid 8000 dollars CASH... my car is so loud it make people and babies cry...
You think crying to anyone is going to do any good...
Grow up...... Please!

Yeah, I get followed by cops all the time. I made a childish post on digitalcorvettes somewhat speaking about the same topic. Hey It's true cops are normal people, some like the car and some don't like seeing younger individuals in them. Everytime I go visit my aunt cops trail me for miles, sometimes I somewhat childishly instigate them when they're directly behind me because they **** me off. Once I moved into another lane from the turning lane and waited for the cop to pass me and then suddenly pulled behind him. I suppose i'm pushing my luck so i've decided that when it happens i'll just act cool and drive normally. Hell, when i'm up working on my car up in the university parking garages the security guards and cops always make for some good company! Just be nice and think of every opportunity as a chance to make friends, even when you're getting stalked by a cop lol!

Evil twin I’m not sure what your chip on your shoulder is towards me but how would you like someone taking something from you that you worked so hard for and not knowing if you are going to get it back, and every time you make calls to try to get the slightest amount of information, they give you the run around and make it seem like you’re the bad guy. So I paid cash big deal I worked hard for it, and frankly I’m not going to take kindly to anyone trying to take it away from me. And the point I was making was that according to the law the bike should have been in a police impound after 5 days, so I wouldn’t have to pay for the 29 of storage. But I’m not going to try to get my money back because it wouldn’t be worth the time/effort/money. I’m just happy to have my bike back. And about my post about how loud my exhaust was a joke about making babies cry, and was on a different post just letting people that may be interested in getting long tubes know what their in for. So I think you should lighten up and take it easy, life’s hard enough as it is without getting worked up over minuscule things.

Although that's pretty funny, I'm guessing a response like that is never well received. If you were going to get a break - you can forget that now!

It took me 35 years as a police officer to finally come to the realization that there are way too many paranoid, schizophrenic people driving on our roadways today. It never dawned on me just how much I frightened people and violated their rights by trying to get from point A to point B in my squad car.

"I got my Lg pro motorsport longtube headers without cats installed on top of my corsa indys, and it is music to my ears, it makes my corsas sound a bit more muscular and much louder, its so loud when I get on it, it breaks windows and makes little children cry"

I would like to offer another plausible reason for the cop zooming up and following you. Maybe its music to his ears also. I know it always brightens my day when I'm sitting in the cruiser and I hear a nice loud american car drive by. I only pick on ricers.
