If you can... I say get an 03-04 with F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control.
Plus you get foglamps, sport seats, power passenger seat, dual zone auto HVAC (coupe and convertible), parcel net and luggage shade (coupe) as standard equipment.

You'll still end up getting raped. Especially being Male. Im 20 years old and Female...with a clean record...Paying 250.00 A Month for Full coverage.
i have a 97 mainly bc it was what i could afford and i havent had any problems at all. I think if you take the time to look the car over and make sure its in good shape you should be alright. For the most part the c5 is a solid car.
hey guys this is my first post, i tried searching but i couldnt find any info on my question
im gunna be looking into gettin a c5 soon, and i know that the 01 and up i believe had a lil more power and a few minor other things different but Reliability wise is there really any difference between the years, i was told not to get a 97 because that was the first yr of the LS1 but other then that is there any yrs that are more prone to have problems then the others?
thanks in advance

That car is still on the road today. Just look at a lot of cars before you buy one. when you see the right one youll now it
