how do you know or how can you tell, if this happens?

 

Hallelujah my Forum! I commented on this hack back in 2007, and it just now worked for me again, on the passenger window of my '03 AE. I did the fist bump on the armrest (toward the door) in a couple of places with various force (while holding the switch down), and VIOLA, down she went!
