Nothing, Version 2004.19 loaded right up. What version of ESI are you using?
I'm using the same version but because of the minimum system requirements, I never attempted to load it on Vista. I can't stand having to use Vista anyway so that laptop hardly ever comes out of the bag. I only break it out when I'm solving a Vista related issue.
All of us GM employees have all of the service manuals available online. I would agree that it is much easier than a paper manual. You just search for things and then when you find it and it references another procedure you just click on it and it takes you to that page.
I was doing some work out in the garage and had the laptop right there with install pics and searches and all and it was great!

I agree, I am thinking of getting a cheap P3 laptop just for my three car manuals.
So I don't have to worry about greasing up my Dell D620
Just a warning to some people. The DVD sets do not work on a few systems. They require a different set of install instructions.
The 7 sets CD-roms are the real originals and work on all windows systems from XP to Vista 64 bit.
I get E-mails and PMs all the time with people asking for help with the DVDs. The application CD and the data are all on one disc and windows will give a copy redundancy error and you'll be out of luck. Not all people have this problem but some do.
Just a bit of info.
