The green connector with 4 red wires and 1 blue you can undo. Slide the green portion back then take the wires out(PITA to get back on) I never did figure out how to undo the white connector.
I just finished mine today.......
Very good info in this thread!!! Thank you all!! And last but not least I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Quick question and Tstar might have a good answer. i live close to Dave in Georgia. going to drop off my Hvac to him tomorrow if not today.
But i have the single zone Hvac, and we were trying to determine, for the top row (4 lights) what bulbs would you find best as far as color?
im going for blue in the bottom buttons,
but if i put Blue up top, when it gets to the 3rd socket thats between the Red temp side and the far right ****, would it make my red look like crap? blue bulb on red...
Hope that makes sense haha..
i figured maybe a blue on the far left and far right, and maybe white on the middle two and let me blue/red temp colors shine themselfs?
idk..
But thx in advance!

I've been looking for a list like the original post for the C6 vette. Can anybody tell me how much of the original list is applicable to my 2007 Coupe? I'm particularly interested in the interior cabin lighting. Thanks guys.
So judging from all the info in this thread it seems the Gauges and door panel switches can all use the oznium.com NEO-WEGDE LED replacement bulbs.
Is it a total of 13 for the door switches and gauges?
The DIC side of the instruement panel takes 3 of the type b neo's. If you have HUD, that side takes 4 of the type A's. The doors take 6 type B's total. I dont use ozniums anymore because of the quality. I use autolumination. Look at about the middle of the page under the 74 bulb catoagory. They are $2.49 each. They also have some that are $3.49 which are 30% brighter but they are a little too large for a couple of the door switch positions. Plus if you want to un-base the brighter ones you have to cut the bases off! The are glued in. I use these in the radio and hvac's and found the oznium neo's fall apart when you try to take them out of the base. Hope that helps!

The gauge faces are front lit by black light tubes. The lamps behind the idiot lights should remain as regular lamps. Some circuits rely on this, I.e. the battery/alternator light.

Yeah I wouldn't want to change the idiot lights. Can the UV tubes be changed out for something blue?

No, the tubes can't be changed to a different color. To change colors of the gauges you have to replace the gauge faces. There are several different replacement face kits out there. Just search the forum. TSTAR who started this thread also has one on changing the faces.
