If he decides he does not want to offer the service of modifying these lights I would be willing to offer the service. Obviously it is his mod so he gets first stab at it, not trying to steal anything from him, just an offer. Obviously I would not ever forget to put on resistors again
and what is your going rate?

I am not going to post a price until I have his blessing to move forward and do them. I would think the $50 shipped would be a good starting point. If he wants to do them I won't undersell him, like I said its his mod, and I guess I feel he "earned" the right to have first chance at selling the service.

I hear-by authorize you to perform this mod. I decided that shipping parts across the country is simply too much of a pain. Therefore, I will offer my services locally (greater Houston area and anyone who may be passing through)

Plus it would be cool to have specialists scattered all over the country...and know that I was the first

Okay for those of you not wanting to tackle this on your own I will be offering this service to you. "Hope I don't have to become a sponsor, as I don't believe I will be getting very many of these but who knows", If you would like this done PM me or email me at koldnrg@gmail.com. Basically the way it would work is that you would ship your lights to me at your expense, I would perform the modification, send you proof that your lights work via video/pics, and then you would send payment via paypal $50 which would include the shipping back, and once payment was recieved your lights would be back in the mail. If your interested let me know, if your still wanting to tackle this on your own I plan on having some more pictures up of the process soon and I am more then willing to talk/type anyone through the procedure.

I would be willing to ship tail light kits to Koldnrg for modification on your behalf....

If I we put together 5 sets in one order to him I will make them $279 (HALO Stock Configuration, UNMODIFIED) and will make a GP list:

1. DKNY Stylez
2.
3.
4.
5.

POST UP IF YOU WANT TO GET IN ON THIS

PM me your phone # so I can call for a credit card.

Disclaimer: Should you decide to have this mod done by Koldnrg, I will be responsible to get the equipment to him. I can not and will not be held liable for the Halo Tail Lights once the shipment is received by Koldnrg.

MODERATORS, Koldnrg would act as a subcontractor for FI Performance as part of a FI Performance Package Piece...

Again, we need 5 to make this price happen.

Brian

Sounds like a hell of a deal. Obviously I just did this mod to my car so I am not certain of its "durability" The soldering is very minor and really should never come loose unless it is tinkered with, however, if for some reason a taillight I modify has a halo quit working, I will repair for free of charge. I am still in the process of finding the exact led's that are in the halos themselves, never hurts to have a few spares laying around. I will be getting ahold of Radio Shack tomorrow as well and telling them to get me some more resistors as it appears I may need a few of them in the near future. Pics of the wiring will not be up for a few days until my replacement LED's arrive, after that like promised I will show my "be warned" wiring, Like I said its not the prettiest wiring in the world, but its solid, and functional. Hope to be doing some business w/ you soon.

Jon

EDIT: And just incase some of your are worried about honesty I work as a police officer, and I believe that I am an honest one at that. Strong moral compass and the such, and hell, you can't hate a cop to much if he drives a Z right?
