Default Tpis headers

Well my headers arrived today that I bought from coffey on the forum. Sent them right away and got a nice set for my build. I love that ceramic coating. I hope it will keep my under hood temp down as heat seems to be a concern with the KB supercharger.

Previously I had the complete Dynatech system but I really disliked the fact that they looked so old after 4 hours of use and really heated my engine compartment. Here are the dynatechs after 4 months of use. They look 10 years old

Here are the TPIS headers I got today from coffey . My grandson is getting more impatient than I am for my motor to get here so we can continue the project. I don't care what anyone says the ceramics look better!!!!

Default Idlers and Pulley

Here are the basic idlers and pulley. The system comes with 3 idlers but with the new belt routing plan you only need two of them. The idler with the long bolt is not used. It initally went between the alternator and power steering pump but will be eliminated for my project. The belt will run directly from the power steering pump to the alternator.
This is the idler that goes on top of the AC idler

This is the idler you dont use

This is the basic idea

Have you thought of an electric water pump while you are involved in all this?

Since you are s/c I don't know if the saved HP makes a difference or not, maybe someone else will know.

I might have missed this earlier, but are you also going with the underdrive pulley?

People with superchargers don't go with underdrive pulleys. They cost us power instead of adding it.

Default Underdrive

You are right my friend an underdrive is a no-no. Had one ASP pulled it off and sold it for this build. Electric water pump not a bad idea I will check in to it. I think they are about 500.00 bucks

Is your power steering pulley still stock (plastic), if so I would replace with a C6 one (metal for about $25.

Default Boost gauge and a/f gauge

Well today is the day before I get my motor back so I installed an A pillar with boost gauge and a/f gauge . I powered them off the wiring under the pasenger side wiring harness. Here is the picture. This is an excellent source of power. The yellow is accessory power. Orange always hot and black ground.

Here is the middle of this part of the install

Here is my helper. He chews wires and leaves little turds while I work

Here is the finished product. I should of got a white faced boost gauge. Well anyone need a black faced one?

MOTOR TOMMORROW WILL NEED AMBIEN TONIGHT !!!!!
