OK, just for kicks, what does everyone keep as their "default" readout?

I cycle between the trip odometer, range and oil pressure.

No real reason....

How about you?

I keep the instant fuel usage on. I like to see how high and low I can get it.

I keep coolant temperature up during the summer, the rest of the year I leave it blank, that way if an error message pops up, it catches my eye quicker.

Good point blacksedan! If you have something else on there I am guessing the Fault Code\Error Message will stay on there and not cycle back to what you had before?

I keep mine at Oil Temp, then when it gets up to operating temps I switch it to Trans Temp. I also check the Oil Life Meter daily.

Good Idea, I usually cycle through everything and end up staying on Average MPG

I leave it on oil temp most of the time - no regular guage for that.

I too cycle through all the important data, but then leave it blank in case of a warning. Although, the HUD would alert me to look down. Not to hijack the OP's thread, but when I cycle the information on my 99's hud I can't get to just a readout of the MPH and nothing else, when did that start, 2001?

Coolant temp primarily, switching to oil and transmission temps periodically, and with increasing frequency if the coolant temp begins to rise.
