Your motor will probably require a new gear (brass recommended) regardless of the lighting system. New HID lights won't fix the headlight assembly going up and down.

For those of us that have done business with JW before, we know he'll do us well. Also, what he's tackling with this project is something that some have done on their own, but no one's offered it as a product before, so best to wait and make sure it's a solid product.
