Happens to me all the time. I park as far away as I can, literally the absolute last available as far away space I can find and sure enough 4 out of 5 times there will be someone parked next to me. Now if it's a really nice car then they don't want their car to be hit either and I can understand, but most of the time its a minivan or a monster like a Tahoe or a Suburban. But what makes me nervous of all is when there is a car parked next to me and there is someone in it and they drive off as I'm approching. I once came out and saw a little kid on a bike stealing my chrome valve stem caps, the little turd got on his bike and split with all the caps before I could get there. WTF is this world coming to!!!!

Well, you wouldn't want to get caught physically (and permanently, as usually defined by the criminal damage laws) damaging someone else's car, but I've always wondered if someone were to slap some big 'ole adhesive bumper sticker smack in the middle of their windshield, and even better if printed on the sticker it said what a $%^& they were? Not that it's ever happened, of course....
The beauty of exotic cars doubles as an A-hole magnet.
Like the man said "never fails"
I hate taking the car to those car meets where they allow people who are not there for the meet to browse through the cars.
Especially, all those little kids with irresponsible parents that do not teach their kids not to touch other people's stuff.
Oh, and don't get me started on those old ladies with the way oversized purses that have metal rivets and other metal bling on them.
They swing those purses like they want to take out your side mirrors. Damn.

Be afraid...Be very afraid!
I was running some errands with my wife the other day and was pretty much "shopped out" when she asked that we stop at our local grocery store to pick up some items. I told her I would rather wait in the car (my daily business driver), so after dropping her off in front, proceeded to park in the next aisle.
While waiting and listening to some tunes, I was absolutely stunned at the lack of driving and parking skills I witnessed over 20 minutes. I couldn't believe how many people drove in the wrong direction in the wrong aisles against traffic and parked cars and then blowing their horns at other drivers who had the right-of-way and were pulling into the aisles correctly.
I saw a guy park his nice, new Camaro about 15 spaces away from the rest of the herd, only to see a guy pull into the space next to him within 5 minutes.
I also saw an elderly women completely blow the stop sign at the end of the aisle and almost hit another woman walking out of the store.
Again, be very afraid!

If you think they are bad in Florida you should see them in Alberta!!!! Some of the worst drivers I have ever seen

I had a car squeeze into a parking spot in my work parking garage. I could barely squeeze in between the cars to open my door. I would have loved to leave him/her a nice note. Instead, I just slapped a yellow sticky on their windshield complimenting them on their fine driving/parking skills. NOT!
You know it. My short story. I get to church and somebody has my usual protected space. So, I drive all the way to the end of the big parking lot and get the most remote place on the lot. I come out after service and lo-and-behold someone with a Camary was parked beside me. I get there and there are no dings, but the person who got out of the car drug their purse or something across my driver door handle and gas cap. It's not bad, but I know it's there.

If I am in my DD an happen to see a vette parked in the back, I know exactly why it is parked there. I actually like to park next to them and leave plenty of room between us. At least this way I hope they can see that I was trying to keep people away from one side of their car.

You take your chances whenever you go to a public parking lot. I try and watch where I park, but I always park in one space.
Tonight the wife and I went out to for a few last minute Christmas gifts. We stopped to eat and of course all of the parking lots at filled and what to I see, a C5 Electron Blue roadster taking up two parking spaces. Those are the guys/gals that find their cars getting keyed. If you are that worried about it then don't take it out or find someplace else to park it.
