My '86 stock, automatic ...155mph topped out... what a great feeling!
The '96, stock, automatic ... 150mph but only in third gear and pulling like a champ. Don't know what top end would be but it had to be at least 10-15mph more...ran out of room and "*****"....didn't want to pay the fine.
My '04.... stock, six speed, Holy crap!!! 150 in forth gear...one more to go...OH CRAP (again), a Trooper! Went by him at a little over 100 mph. Have no idea why he didn't turn around and nail me...maybe it was the end of his shift and he had a hot date! My good furtune.
Now I have a 2000, stock, automatic. Had it to 145 and still mega power to go. Very strong engine. One of these days I'll get stupid and open it up. I'm hoping for around 175!

Top speed is a couple miles higher on the coupe due to wind resistance. The coupe is approximately .2 to .3 seconds slower in the 1/4 than the FRC. It's .8 to .9 slower than the Z06 in the 1/4. Or there abouts.
But it also depends on what gears, tranny, etc.

I don't really want to know. My '01 coupe is pretty heavily modded and I can't think of anywhere I could get it up to top speed.
Now 20-70 on the freeway on-ramp is another story. It does it in "oh **** I'm already at 80."

163 mph on back straight of Road Atlanta, then had to BRAKE HARD for Turn 10 
with proper set up, no vibrations. Road noise? well that is a different but too busy to hear anything
