I've never used/seen it on cars, that I'm aware of. I like the idea of doing it up front for a vacation trip. Does it really come off easy, without any prep or changes to the paint? Can you tell it was on there, after removal?

Anyone? Seriously asking here, thanks.

Yep. My friend used it to create some temporary stripes on his Trans Am. He left it on for about 2 weeks, decided he didn't like the stripes and pealed them right off.

I am about to find out how the "glossifirer" clear Plasti-Dip spray works out. I am hoping to use it on my 500cc GP Replica YZR for trackdays.

So I just claim they are there for aero these days

I'd love to hear/see how it looks and works out for you. Please let me/us know.

Edit: I found it here. I take it that you mean the clear correct?

I see that Summit Racing carries it.

Why not? As much as people think that Corvettes are something rare/special they are not. Dont get me wrong I love my vette and other C5-C6's but they by far dont get put in a catagory with a ferrari, and the only porcshe Id put it in is maybe a low end carrera or boxter.

I plan on plasti-dipping my rear facia (eventually). Just because I can remove it when I decide to sell the car if the buyer doesnt like it.

Where I live I see more vettes around then 3rd-4th gen camaros. I was never even really a fan of vettes when I had my Turbo Iroc. I just though whatever another Vette.

But to each their own. In the end I drive mine everyday so to me its nothing special. If I bought it BRAND NEW Maybe I would think otherwise But I only paid 12K for it.

Wow... For a second I agreed with you until you put the Vette in the same category as a Boxster. I will tell you right now that the Vette is WELL beyond a Boxster. And there's really NOTHING special about a Porsche until you buy the super expensive ones (like the Carrera GT and the GT2/3) in my very honest opinion.

I was considering a Porsche, I'm glad that's as far as it went, and with the number of them running around here, they are nothing special.
I do wish I understood what 'established standard' or rating system those who are comparing are using for a reference.
