I have my eye on a set with cats myself to compare against AR, Kooks, and OBX long tubes.

Looking forward to adding them to the line

Problem is.. "Another couple weeks" has been the answer for many months now.

Crapt I am saving for their sway bars right now. Oh the challenges of having five children and a go fast addiction! If these are available by January 2014 I just may spend some of my bonus on a set. However I promised my wife this car wouldn't smell like my former Mustang Cobra with LTs and no cats. Will there be a catted option? What kind of x-pipe will it be? I am very fond of Magnaflow and their tru-x crossover pipe.

Pfadt has incorporated their own x-pipe into the system. And yes, catted will be an option. We are just hoping that air tubes are as well. At least on the catted set!

The air tubes are the metal tubes that run into the headers near the block. You can see them if you look from the top on each side. That is where air is injected, It would be foolish to run cats and not have air injection as the cats would be prone to fouling and quicker failure from not heating quickly after start up. All the extra hydrocarbons that are produced on a cold start get clogged in the cat, what saves the cat is when it gets to operating temp it can effectively remove these with no harm and clean emissions. Without air injection, the cats can get plugged with the HC's and not run clean until they heat up on their own, which needless to say happens much slower than with the air system.

Since these are a single piece x pipe with no way to rotate the single connection pipes, how are people going to adjust their exhaust tips if they are a little but off?

I really wanted the PFADTS for my C5 but couldn't wait any longer. My installer (LWA Doraville GA) is ready to install my 243 heads/Comp Cam so I decided to go with AR Headers. Wish you all the best with the PFADTS when released. Got a good friend with them installed on his ZR1..look fantastic and they sound great.

They have been out for month at least now, just no one has dyno numbers outside of them.

My installer called Pfadt and I beleive XTremePerformance in Fla. who is a distributor for PFADT and have been advertising on our C5 forum. The story he got was they aren't available yet. They will take your money...as they charged his account, but none have shipped. Im not going to bash them because I think they have a great product....I really hope you are correct and get them soon.

Not even close to being true. We've shipped out numerous batches of C5 headers since the release! There are some soundclips on our facebook/forum from customers that I posted a few months back

Sounds like your installer is fabbing up a story, are they maybe a kooks dealer?

I sure hope they ship soon.. I planned to start racing again in January. I need to get these installed and tuned along with the Nitrous Outlet kit I've selected.

Nope...they aren't a dealer at all. A very reputable and established High Performance Engine Builder who has recieved and installed Pfadt headers already on at least 1 ZR1 that I'm aware of. I have no reason to doubt what I was told or the what the rep from PFADT disclosed of the batches already shipped etc. I look forward to reading post on our C5 forum on how they perform.
