Thank you. My employer is soon to start hiring again. Business is booming, and a lot of 'baby boomers' like me have been retiring recently.
I and my two older brothers (both retired Locomotive Engineers) are the 5th generation of railroad worker, in my family.
Retired from the US Submarine Service about 7 years ago after 26 years and 8 different submarines. Now a Federal Employee managing the recruiting of engineers for our local Shipyard. The current job turned out to be a lot less fun yesterday when I was furloughed due to our elected officials being unable to agree on anything and fund the government. I am hoping this furlough does not last too long.

Retired from Rockwell/Boeing in '05 after 31 years of "aerospace" software/systems engineering.

Have an MS degree in electrical engineering. I've been an application support and IT specialist in the EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software business for over 20 years. Work insane hours due to the never ending stream of people's design and computer challenges But I will say I find it a blessing that I do very much enjoy my job.
26 years US Army... ( 10 yrs AD, 13 USAR) 4 yrs til retirement (by choice).
Regional Sales, Business Development for a Radiology company, Clinical Laboratory, PICC Line Services... Our client base are Nursing homes, LTAC (Long term Acute Care) Hospitals. We actually go to them and provide the above mentioned services. Obama has forced us to "bundle" our services in an effort to rise above our competitors.
"Currently" Military Sales manager, and manage both military and commercial sales of thermal/acoustical insulation for aircraft. I see several here who work for my customers (Boeing, Lockheed, etc). Been in the aircraft business for 40 years, maybe I'll get lucky and be able to retire in another 14 years. That's of course if they don't downsize me, I will find out on Friday...
