! I'm 52...and am enjoying life more than ever! I must say that part of that enjoyment is from owning/driving my C5!!

And more so of course, is from having my most lovely wife with me all the while!!

Are you going crazy ?? Too old...for real ?

I am 59 and still racing my Z and a Silverado with a 402. I just bought new rubber for both. Don't tell me I just wasted my money..

Think I better go take a nap now

I just took them both to Maryland, above is a couple pics.

Not sure of the definition, but at 58 you may be beyond "mid-life". I know I am (65). I don't care what others think, I have always loved Vettes and always will.

Now if I could get a good deal on a CTS-V???

Considered buying a used Vette in mid 80's but didn't because it wasn't practical for me to drive with two kids.
It wasn't until my brother-in-law bought his '66 Sting Ray a few years ago that I even thought about getting my dream car. Got my 2003 C5 in August and get a thrill EVERY time I drive it.
Yeah, I'm one of the old guys (63) driving a Vette but I say keep it as long as you still drive!

I'm 63 years old and have always been a "car guy". I had an MG Midget when I was 16 and a 1964 Corvette Vert when I was 18 (1968). Kept it until it was stolen in 1972. Couldn't afford another Corvette, so I bought an Opel GT (looked like a little Corvette). Got married and had kids, no Corvette then, but I always said that I would get another. In 2002 I got my current 1998 Corvette. Used as a daily driver.

If you are a car guy, it's not a mid life crises!

I think I might tell my wife. " You know,,, I think you're right! I am going through a midlife crisis! And I intend to take full advantage of it! So tomorrow I'm trading you in for a couple of 25 yr olds!"

I think it's time you purchased a C-7. Tell your wife it's okay.
