Mounted and done. They look good. I'm thinking about lowering it a little on stock bolts.

Installed side vent screens. Could only find silver so I put 3 coats black and 2 coats clear spray on them. Before putting them in I removed the black plastic from inside the vent and painted that too. It had gotten faded over the years and looks much better now.

nice progress, what other mods are in store? if you like power on a budget, I would look at the LS7 Exhaust manifolds/downpipe/Hpipe, I picked up 20+HP with them. Vinal wrap the halo and some Z06 rear brake duckts i think look good on a Coupe
found this car, would look kinda like yours:

RedZ, thx man. I hope to have my vararam and HUD installed this coming week. I already have a Corsa catback and X pipe. I plan to get a tune with a 160* stat.

I might put some Z51 away bars and shocks on and lower it a little.

Let me know when you want the sways and maybe the shocks too (I know I got the tools for the sways, not sure about the shocks yet)

I had to sell my ls1 intake on eBay the other day in order to motivate myself to take it off and put the ls6 one on

Targa conversion is pretty much done and I'm driving the car again .. Heck if they fit in the car I'll bring my new ones over and we can swap them all

Another LEO to the both you stay safe out there BROTHERS!!!! Also OP how did you remove the small panels/strips that are on the doors? What did you use to remove the "gunk" that was left after they were removed.

I want to remove mine but I am afraid of what it will look like underneath them and I wouldn't be able to get the "gunk" off.

Hey man. Cool, glad there's a few of us here. Get a 3m stripe off wheel from napa or a parts store. It won't hurt the paint and it comes of quick and easy. Stay safe

That's for the glue. To remove them use fishing line to saw back and fort. Get your fingers under the edge and just slowly pull it off. Then use the wheel on the glue.

Thanks man. Also good looking car and very tasteful mods. I love the look with the "strips" removed. Will definitely be removing them soon!

Once again STAY SAFE!

Went down and met Adrians99FRC today. We changed his rear diff fluid. He had Z06 sway bars to install on his and was generous enough to give me his Z51 sway bars. I painted the rear bar red.
He also put those painting skills to use and redid my plasti dip.

His car is awesome and his targa conversion is amazing.

330 am and still going. I'm beat. Finally got the Vararam installed. Also put in brake/fog light screens, tinted turn signals, and tightened up my exhaust. Pics tomorrow in daylight. Time to get some sleep.
