I use Chadwick's no sling on my tires and it works as advertised. Tires look great, no residue on the car after driving.

No Sling Tire Dressing does exactly what it says......It also has UVA/UVB sunscreens in it to prevent the carbon content of the tire from "browning" like most conventional silicone laden dressings....After 5 years of consumer use we have had NO complaints to it's performance or anything detrimental to it's use....All the best, Neil

Im loyal Chadwick user as well… The no Sling Tire dressing is AMAZING. There is no mess at all as it is not a greasy coating. Can also be used (and I do) on interior parts. It gives the tires a nice brand new tire type of deep black look not that ridiculous super shiny i just drove through baby oil look. It also doesn't sling up all over the side of the car when you drive.

Glad you asked about this cause it reminded me I need to call up Neil and order some more

I'm another Triple Play fan. I even used the No Sling tire dressing on my dash and black leather trim. It really makes the black stuff pop, is greaseless and leaves a nice sheen.

Default Dealership stickers

Does anyone have any ideas how to safely remove the adhesive residue left by dealership (advertising) sticker from the painted surface?
Such as Goo Begone, Krud Kutter, Etc?

I used Goo Gone and a microfiber towel to remove the residue from my factory emblems worked like a charm.

I'm almost 70 years Old. I've been detailing my cars for 55 years. I've seen the evolution of petro based detailing products to the vegetable based products and now to the space aged polymer products. !6 years ago, I was researching new detail products, and came across Sal Zaino's start up products, and got to talk with him many times about the who, how and why's of his direction and his background, and the family member and chemical engineer who helped Sal formula and move his product line to something no one else had developed.
Sal claimed that with his products , you could take a black car into the Nevada desert where temps can hit 120 F under the high noon UV rays, and apply his product and remove it with no issue. AS I know through my research, that for 50 years, Carnauba based products break down at temps of 110 F. and could never be applied in direct sun.
So... what did this claim tell me? It told me that this is something that no one else was ever able to produce. So in my 55 years , here is a product that might have the properties that no one else had. It was worth my time and further investigation. Since many red pigmented cars can get that washed out look, I was looking for something with a High UV stability and neutral PH. The other thing about Zaino is that it is 99.9 % optically clear. Compared to other product that was the highest optically clear product ever advertised.
So for the last 16 years I've been using Zaino. My car has almost 100,000 miles. Its easy to use a Windex type product to clean the surface of your car and get a nice shine, but its topical , there is no molecular bond. Everyone who sees my car thinks it was just painted. They wanted to argue... The finish on my car is amazing. and after 16 years, i't looks better than the finish of a brand new car. Its also easy to take a car that is a few years old and a few thousand miles, and use a Windex type product or quick detailer to clean off the clear coat and add a glistener, which last until the UV rays remove it. Zaino molecularly bonds to the surface and last longer than any product I've ever used.. the UV protection found in this product last for years. My Torch red paint looks as bright and red as a brand new Torch red car, even after 16 years. I've tried hundreds of products over the years, and there is nothing that even comes close to this product, that I would want to find something that would be head and shoulders above anything else. Also, after 16 years I can now Zaino my car, because Ive learned a few trick over the years. one is, you don't need very much product. 16 years ago, it could get three complete applications from a single bottle of Zaino. Today I can get 10 application. I also use take off cotton towels that I put in the dryer to remove any absorbed moisture. In the summer and on a humid day , a cotton take off towel can easily absorb moisture, which smears the product. IN early years people were complaining about Zaino is time consuming to use. Over the years that time has diminished for many. Like I said, 30 minutes is all it takes. I cold water rinse the car and blow dry it. then apply a ver small amount of Zaino to one panel , then move to the next panel, once the first panel is applied, I get a warmed towel from the dryer, and remove the product from panel one.. then I go to panel three and apply the product ( takes less than a minute ) then go to panel two and remove the product ( takes less than a minute ) then go to panel four and apply the product, then go to panel three and remove the product.. and so forth. The protection, optical clarity, and comments I get from people ( Everyday )who view my car, even after 16 years an 100,000 miles seem to think the car is brand new based on its cleanliness, and the paint finish. So what could I possibly gain, Zaino has been vetted by thousand of people, the product has a track record of providing more than any other product I've ever used. I understand the chemistry behind the product. The liquid detailer type products. Offer a level of shine using a glistener, but they don't have enough tenure to claim ultimate protection over decades of use on a single car.
You could do a lot worse with a lot of products, not sure you can get anything better, that would be worth me changing. Zaino is quick, and the results I get and the feedback I get form people who don't even know me, proves that Zaino works. Everyone defends their choice in almost anything. But when others give overwhelming feedback that what ever I'm doing, it certainly is amazing, considering it makes my 16 year old paint looks as good as a brand new car.
Over the years Zaino has evolved from a Garage in North Jersey, to a world wide business, with many unsurpassed products, e.g. Leather in a bottle..... the smell alone makes it one of the most desirable products for this application. the gloss enhancer and tire shine are all products that work better than anything I've ever used in 55 years of detailing. BTW there are no nitrates in any of Sal's products.. Nitrates make any application, a silicone junkie.. meaning the more you use it, the more you need to use it. Nitrates are used as a cleaning agent,, but nitrates remove natural oils and break down the chemical bonds found in paint and render it completely unprotected from UV breakdown.
Just a small testimonial to Zaino products,, BTW I've have not talked with Sal Zaino in ten years, I have no personal or self serving reason to recommend his products other than I try to give members here the feedback from my honest experiences, on many things, including Zaino.

Sorry for the long winded post. People who know me, know I am passionate about products and things that make our C5 better, and serve us so well.

Bill aka ET

Some Zaino Cars. BTW these cars have been maintained with Zaino for many many years. My car was bought in Nov. 1998. When a product can perform this well with 16 year old paint, it says something about the product that protects it.

I didn't mean that Chadwicks is a bad product. What I should have said is that I've heard that tire shine in general is not good for the rubber. If Chadwicks is superior to others, then it is the way to go. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

i can't understand why people keep saying "Zainos is so time consuming". I put a coat of #5 on my coupe Sunday . less than 20 minutes total.Nothing compares

I agree..... thirty minutes for me. The level of protection is only acquired through years of protecting and documenting the results. Our 14 and 15 and 16 year old C5's still maintain their protective integrity using Zaino. The product is 99.9 % optically clear, and UV stable.
I quick detailer type product that uses a glistener, will never offer the same level of protection year after year. These type of products are a Windex type of product with 98% water, 1 % gloss enhancer, and 1% cleaner, and many of these cleaners are a disulfide, which over time will cause fade because disulfides drain any natural oils or UV protection from the products that they are applied too, making them a junkie for more product. For 50 years Carnauba has been accepted as a good thing for a car finish , only to find out that it pales in comparison to a space aged polyamide product like Zaino.
AS far as I am concerned , everyone can use what ever they feel does the job for them. I'm in no way putting down any product the membership feels works for them... I'm just offering my experience over 55 years of not just using a product, but doing the research to find out why one product is better than another. About ten years ago I was talking on the phone with a Maguire's chemist who was developing a product called NXT.. while in discussion, we gravitated too Zaino, and I can quote the chemist from Maguire's saying , "Oh yes we know all about Zaino we have it here in our lab. I'm not making any conclusions or insinuations, but from my perspective, Maguire's had a big interest in Zaino products.
Just some FYI

I can do a complete application in 30 minutes using 1/10th of a 5 oz bottle of Zaino. Meaning, I can get ten full applications with one bottle of Show car polish. Depending on your, number of applications, one bottle of Show car can last several years. The other nice thing about this product is there is no white chalking, like some of the Maguire's products, and Turtle wax products.

So are you guys saying that you clay bar your vette once then put on this Zaino and never have to clay bar your vette again?

How do you get the little chunks of dirt off?
