Default Satisfied Chadwick's user.....

I too received my Triple Play package last week and have only been able to use it to "wash" my car twice. (I clay-barred the car just three weeks ago so I didn't see the need to use the Chadwick "bar".)

Well,,,,, I just ordered a GALLON of TriplePlay to make sure that I don't run OUT....!

What sold me is the EASE of application and the wonderful finish when complete. For instance, yesterday it rained while I was at AutoZone getting some 'stuff' and ruined my shine for our date on Sunday. Within 30-40 minutes, I had the car looking show-room ready again!

Now granted (and Neil is gonna hate this), but I will still use the typical water-hose technique when I need to wash-off the dirt clods in the driveway since this is my daily driver and I am in Construction.
But for these "quicky" in between times when I need to get the car immaculate again,,,, it's Chadwicks all-the-way!
I say, support a Forum Vendor who actually owns a Vette and believes in his product. Good job, Neil!

Wait just a minute, It rained and your shine was ruined? That don't sound any good at all, I use Zaino and when it rains all I have to do is dry the car and the shine is still there, Even after months., Now I can see why you bought a gallon, You will need it is the shine is gone after a little rain.

What I failed to mention is that there was a film of about three days of road dust, pollen, etc on the car.... so when it rained, I had more than just water droplets on the car. More like "mud" puddles.

Over-exaggerated when I said "ruined my shine".... just meant some more work that afternoon. (More than just a California Duster.)

But after reading your posts, Bill,,,, and after seeing what a great job the Zaino does on your C5, the next time I need to do a more "traditional" detailing, I'm going to get some Zaino instead of the Meguires that I've been using.
Your car still looks BRAND NEW!

Bill , what I find interesting is that people order gallons of this liquid stuff. A guy on here just bought the " kit ", now he is re-uping his order again..
I use one bottle of Zaino and it last me three years. Like I said be careful of those products that make your car a product junkie.. the more you use it the more you need it..
Ive been doing this stuff for over 50 years , and there is something fundamental about not rubbing dirt with any product, yet the clam says don't wash the car. I would never rub topical dirt with any product...
Ill stick with Zaino.

IM Zaino ing my car once or twice a year and then when dirty or dusty a hit it with the hose and then the leaf blower. that's all I do. I don't wash my car, just hose it off and that maybe once a month. No reason to lie. For the last 12 years. This is what I do.. my finish looks as good as a new finish. it looks wet all the time. I don't care what others use. I am concerned about a path that sends people rubbing dirt into their car's finish with some liquid detailer.

Bill, years ago, this would be the case, but with some of today's "nano" products, scratches are much easier to avoid. Here's a quote from 3D's website:

FAQ: How does waterless car wash work? It simply has nano-polymers that cling to the dirt creating a ball bearing effect (tiny capsules that capture the dirt), lifting the dirt form the surface of the car and wiping to a clean finish with a micro fiber towel. Then when you use a second, clean, microfiber towel you will buff the surface of the car to bring out an incredible shine. Essentially, a waterless wash and wax. It then protects your car’s exterior from building up dirt and gathering dust faster than traditional methods and other copy cat formulas. So go ahead, touch your car’s smoothness and cleanness.
I was (initially) a non-believer until I examined the paint after application of 3D. There were no scratches. The stuff is amazing in how it lifts the dirt with a microfiber towel.

Dave, Like I said. My car's finish speaks for itself. IM happy that people find that product to work for them. The topic of this thread was Waxing ideas.

Like Bill pointed out, if the 3D product is effected by rain, then where is the protection? Zaino is a Nano product too and can be put on a Back car at noon in the blazing sun with surface temps at 140F in the Nevada desert. I've not seen another product that can do that and hundreds of members with black cars have used this product. Ive laser tested black hoods in 95F days and saw 130F . Carnauba which has been around for 50 years breaks down at 110 F. IM not arguing the 3D product but I wont take advice from someone who tells me not to wash my car first. It does no harm to wash it unless the clean car and the water effect the product. What I'm saying is that you have to completely cover the car with 3D ( and don't miss a spot because if you do, its like rubbing sand paper over your clear coat. If 3D washes off with water,( as already mentioned by a 3D product user ) then you can see why I'm skeptical. Like I said Ill stick with Zaino, it works for me, and If I'm missing the boat with the 3D product then so be it. My gut rarely fails me. My gut tells me if rain is a problem for the 3D product why would I use it.. With Zaino, I can hear my finish laughing at the rain.
1 8 oz. bottle of Zaino will yield me 9/10 complete car applications. @ 3 applications a year, a 12.99 bottle of Zaino will last me 3 years.

I don't think that person is using 3D. Rain does NOT wash it off. I can attest to that. I will not use it on a dirty car before giving it a washing. However, I rarely need to, as I keep my cars covered if taken to work and garaged at home. I use 3D as a detailer, as well.
The last time I bought some, it was in a 5 gallon container. At the time, we had 6 vehicles in our family. Even though, that 5-gallon container will last at least 2 years. Remember, we are in San Diego where it rarely rains between April and November.
Before 3D, I used Zaino and then ReJex. Both are good products.
