I'm new to the wonderful world of corvettes and I'm wanting my baby to shine. What would be great wax or polish to accomplish that? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
I recently used Zaino wax and I'm a believer! I have used many other waxes but I have never seen anything like Zaino. #5 to remove swirl & towel marks has to be seen to believe.
I posted earlier before I saw this post, why do you need to clay bar if you are using an abrasive polish? Doesn't that remove stuff from the paint layer?
I have used most products(adam's,meguiars, zaino, chadwick, etc..) I like the ease of Chadwick's and it does great on chrome. Zaino I think, while time consuming, gives the deepest wettest shine though. Hands down Zaino leather cleaner and conditioner! I'm going to use Zaino on occasion, but Chadwicks ease and good results got me!

So would you recommend using Zaino to start out, and Chadwick's to maintain ?

You want your paint perfectly clean before polishing. While the pad and abrasive polish might knock contaminants off, the last thing you'd want is for them to get stuck in the pad and start creating damage of their own during the paint correction process.
I haven't tried it yet; but those who have love the product!
Thanks everyone for your support and kind words about Chadwick's....I'm not sure if you know but I'm just like one of you a "Vette" owner....."Chadwick" those "Vettes"!!.All the best, Neil...
IT TAKES TIME. what I did was try a lot of products and get an open minded unbias opinion from everyone. everyone is not going to agree on the same thing, we all like different. so find the right fit for you and good luck.
Yes, definitely clay bar first before any polishing/waxing.
Has anyone used Chadwicks tire shine? I've stayed away from it because of the mess it could cause and also because I've read it isn't good for the tires.

I've used the Chadwick tire stuff a couple times and it seems to work great. Where have you read it isn't good for the tires? Why?
