mrr23 mod thread

thought i would condense my mod posts into one area. i will either post some pics or links to the original threads.

here is how the car looked when i first bought it in january 2014

mods on car as received

car has k/n filter
bbk headers
billy boat exhaust
corbeau racing seats
Simpson 5 point harnesses
HID Headlights
Hardbar
Black Z06 wheels

next up was the task of repairing the hood and painting it and the rear hatch

i changed out the black Z06 wheels for some chrome C6 wheels in C5 Z06 sizes.

did some engine maintenance by changing the valve springs and adding 1.7 yella terra rockers.

couldn't foot brake it over 1200 rpm due to from what i've read torque management kicking in. this is with traction control turned off. that's no fun. could probably crack a 12 if i could launch harder. i never needed to burn out the tires because of the 2.73 gears and tires.

next up for a mod is the race mesh grille inserts i just got from CCA corvette parts

put in the brake duct one in to see how it looks
