The reason is.....if your trying to find one to buy...YOU CAN'T
Yeah, someone would have to start with a 2 and add four more (higher) numbers to it, then maybe we could talk. Otherwise, my daughters will be fighting over who gets it when I'm gone.
White does not show dirt easily. Unless you actually run your fingers across the paint it's extremely hard to tell when a white car is dirty.
Sorry Ed, but I disagree. I've had a number of white cars and I always thought they were a royal PITA to keep clean. The first few splatters of road mud/dirt from the tires stuck out like a sore thumb!! It just went down hill from there.
In all fairness though, I did admit that my black car shows dirt even worse!!
White on red......one of a kind, but it's the most awesome color combo ever created by GM.
Too bad C5's like this are extremely rare....LOL! soo rare I had to build it myself!
From: Gurnee IL. so close to Wisc. I can smell it when they cut the cheese
Love my Arctic White with red interior coupe. First white car I have ever owned. Over the years I have been kinda partial to black and still have two black SUVs. When I park them all side by side looks like an automotive Oreo.

The previous owner (the seller) emailed me this pic and I didn't have to stare at it very long before I went and bought the car. And I didn't even like white at the time. It just seemed so "cherry" for a ten year old car. The color has grown on me over the years.

To each their own. I love black, always have. First car (V8 Monza) at 16 years old was black. Currently own a black Z06 and a black Grand Caravan (previous was dark blue due to availability and we both wished we had black).
Black on black with black wheels to me is not a fad; I've always liked the look. No red or chrome strips on the wheels, just flat black. My exhaust tips I'm OK with, but due to road grime they're basically black also (and that's OK, I don't do much to clean them although for fun might try and see what they look like "shiny"). Never had a chrome engine part for that matter.
White, not my cup of tea. Still nice, just not for me. If every car was black it'd be boring, then maybe I'd buy a white one.
White with the right combo of interior color and exterior accents looks great. If I end up getting a C7, white with red interior will be on my list of colors.
Just like the first Vette to roll off the assemblyline
