The diffuser I made started as a stock C6 ABS diffuser. Had to cut it in three places to fit it to a stock C5 rear bumper fascia. Mine can be installed in about 30 minutes. No drilling or cutting. No need to purchase another rear bumper.

the other bumper removes the c5 reverse lights and puts them in the diffuser... it's basically a c6 bumper that uses c5 taillights, but it fits horrible from what I've seen and I have bad experiences with their hood so it's a no go for me... I would like to see some pics of your diffuser from a distance so we can get a better view of what it looks like in proportion to the rest of the car

I will get some either today or tomorrow. I may try making a video of the install and removal to show how easy it goes on and of and the strenght of the mount.
Well I put the exhaust back on, dropped her down off the jack stands and went for a 150 mile test run with the diffuser in place. Worked out great. Got a few 90 mph stretch runs and some steady 75 mph highway miles on it. Held like a glove. Here are a few pics from a distance. Have to meet with a vendor on Monday.

What you have accomplished so far is outstanding.
Your quasi-diffuser has a lot of style which is what
most are 'clamering' for.Nice work.
When you decide to improve your q-diffuser I suggest
you incorporate a flat square pan underneath your vette.
It can be bolted to your q-diffuser and the places that
you see fit. This way you can settle down the turbulent
air from your rear axle to the bumper. This will improve
down force greatly.
The pan can be a option for us purist and the rest will enjoy
the look. Again fine work and Good Luck.
