The Adjure Reverse Lights for C5 Corvette from radioflyerinnovations.com is a great option. It makes the car look new. I am really happy with mine. (Yes thats a trailer hitch!!)

I ordered the cree bulbs that were suggested above, and they'll be in on Tuesday. Pics to follow. I also love the adjure housings that many of you have posted, so will be picking those up as well. Neutron82's pics sold me! Thanks everyone.

So these are brighter than the previous glue-in 20w LEDs I purchased from you previously? If so, can I replace with these? Seems like I had to trim something on the socket or housing to get the 20w LEDs to install (can't remember)?

As much as I'd like to make another sale, there is not enough difference in total output IMO to justify the swap.

....now if your current bulbs are experiencing issues, then the new bulbs would me a suitable replacement.

A couple shots of the Genssi crees that just came in.

Sorry about the over flash in the second picture. Typical cellphone camera. Will do my best to install tonight and shoot a few more pics.

Update: The Genssi LEDs fit into the OEM housing very well, but I'm having some major difficulty lining up the contacts. The bulbs twist to lock, but only seem to light up when they're in a limbo between loose and tight. Will work at it some more and try to figure out a solution.

I just looked at the led bulbs I have and they are 1157, I wonder if that has anything to do with the issue you are having... I know the 1157 locking tabs are offset unlike the 1156 and you say yours locked in so I don't know lol... fwiw mine fit perfectly in the sockets

Results are in... They're BRIGHT. Getting the contacts to line up was pretty difficult. I'm not 100% positive that they won't get jostled by a bump in the road (especially in Albuquerque. ), and cease to light. Time will tell though. They fit into the OEM housing like a glove. Not sure if I got a strange batch, or this is a common issue with aftermarket lighting. Maybe others who have installed similar lights can chime in. (Especially those with the RadioFlyer LEDs. I have my eye on their adjure housing.) Enjoy.

That's a very good question. Definitely a possibility. Thanks for the verification. Expert opinions?

I knew they would fit the stock housings just fine... your car looks good, I love the halo led tails and the reverse lights are the final touch... it will look even better when you get the adjure housing in my opinion

Thanks very much. The rear end has definitely come together. After seeing the adjure housing on your car, I knew I had to have it. I'm trying to talk my lady into buying me an early Valentine's gift. She just bought a new Grand Cherokee though, so I may have to treat myself.

The Genssi are 1156. What are the OEM bulbs you just swapped out?

1156 has one filament while 1157 has two:

The OEM bulbs are "2057", and have two filaments as well.
